Purpose

 

The Customer Service Supply Chain Associate is an integral role in the Chiesi Australia business. Working closely with the Customer Service Supply Chain Manager the role will include, managing inbound and outbound orders in a timely manner – processing/dispatching/tracking orders, ensuring deliveries are completed in line with established KPIs, inventory management and supporting daily supply chain/logistics operations and reporting requirements. 

 

To be successful in this role you will have experience in customer service managing logistic partners, high attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders as well experience in SAP.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

Customer Service (AUS/NZ)

 

  • Managing inbound shipments (obtaining freight quotes, scheduling & planning, reviewing document accuracy) by liaising with relevant logistics partners ensuring proper handling, transport, and timely arrival.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with warehouse teams and supplier partners. 
  • Processing/dispatch/invoicing of outbound customer orders in an accurate & timely manner using ERP system.
  • Liaising with local transport/distribution teams for outbound order tracking and escalating appropriate delivery related issues or managing returns.
  • Reviewing and processing invoices, debit/credit notes, claims, and returns. 
  • Managing incoming calls and email enquiries, ensuring timely receipt, acknowledgement, with clear and efficient communication.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, creating or reviewing new customer accounts, and filing relevant documents.
  • Analysing customer enquiries and directing to appropriate internal departments.
  • Communicating changes/issues to Customer Service/Supply Chain Manager. 

 

Supply Chain (AUS/NZ)

 

  • Liaising with supplier partners and Customer Service/Supply Chain Manager on stock requirements and purchase plan. 
  • Inventory management (stock levels, storage locations, movements, purchase order receipts and master data). 
  • Handling product complaints and managing appropriate reverse logistics.
  • Supporting reporting requirements for internal/external stakeholders.


Experience Required

 

  • 2-3 plus years’ experience in an in-bound customer service role. 
  • Strong business acumen/knowledge with experience in customer service, logistics, and supply chain. 
  • Working knowledge of ERP/inventory systems (previous experience in SAP will be highly regarded).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to work comfortably in an environment where problems are often not well defined.
  • Action and outcome focused – ability to recognise issues as they occur and ensure acceptable solutions and outcomes.
  • Excellent phone manner, teamwork, and computer skills.
  • Accurate and skilled data entry.
