Communication Advisor - temporary assignment

Chiesi Benelux is looking for a temporary Communication Advisor to join our affiliate located in Amsterdam (Schiphol). This assignment is for the duration of ~6 months starting preferably as of May 1st. 

What will you do?

As a Communication Advisor, you are the driving force behind our corporate branding, executing communication strategies (internal and external) with precision and flair. Your proactive approach ensures that our communication goals are met seamlessly and effectively.


You streamline processes where communication plays a pivotal role, ensuring information flows smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise also shines in collaborative (communication) projects, where your creativity and strategic mindset come to life.


Additionally, you play a key role in organizing internal events aimed at strengthening company identity and boosting employee engagement. Last but not least you will play an important role in impactful projects on COPD recognition, the smokefree generation and the sustainable future of inhalers.


You will be part of the PACOSUMA (Public Affairs, Communication, Sustainability and Market Access) department. The team consists of Public Affairs Leads, a Shared Values & Sustainability Business Partner and a Communication Intern. You will report to the Senior Director Market Access & Public Affairs, who is leading the team. 


You have several duties and responsibilities: 

  • Communication policy: providing input and contribute to the development of the internal and external communication policy. 
  • Internal communication: ensuring that all information within Chiesi will be used correctly. You manage the intranet, inform and train new employees, translate corporate communication, support on employer branding and support on every other communication issue or question.
  • External communication: making sure the external (media) communication will be carried out in line with the policy of Chiesi Benelux. You are taking care of the contacts with external media parties and draft and coordinate (press) messages, publications and social media content. You manage the external communication channels. 
  • Events: coordinating and organizing internal meetings, activities and events. 

 

Who are we looking for?

 

Someone with fresh energy and a proactive mindset, who breathes that communication is an essential profession for business success. Someone who is self-starting and feels comfortable to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. 


Furthermore, you have:

 

  • Working and thinking level: Bachelor, for instance a completed marketing, commercial economics or business administration education program;
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent working experience in a similar and/or relevant position;
  • Experience with communication expressions through text, language and image;
  • Experience with project-based working and independently managing and coordinating communication and event projects;
  • Knowledge of the media landscape (including social media);
  • Agency management;
  • Excellent oral and written communicative skills in English.
