Who we are looking for
Purpose
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Trade Mark Paralegal to join our growing practice. This rolewill support our trademark attorneys in managing trademark portfolios, coordinating filings, renewals andhandling a variety of prosecution and enforcement matters.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and file trademark applications, renewals and other documents on the UIBMincluding EUIPOand WIPO platform.
- Provide support to foreign Attorneys in filing, renewal, maintenance and opposition matters.
- Maintain and manage our trademarks database, ensuring deadlines and renewals are trackedaccurately.
- Maintain accurate records of trademark portfolios and generate reports as needed.
- Assist with trademark availability searches and initial search reports.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by attorneys.
Experience Required
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in trademark law, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
Education
Preferably a law degree. Other degree programs or diplomas will also be considered.
Languages
Fluent English
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with international trademark systems (e.g., WIPO, EUIPO).
- Proficiency in IP docketing software (e.g., CPI)
Soft Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to work independently.
