Who we are looking for
The Global Project Management Office (PMO) has been established to support Chiesi’s growth aspirations and transform on multiple fronts. Directly reporting to the Senior Vice President, Chief Transformation Officer with a dotted line reporting to the Senior Vice President, Global Business & Corporate Development, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the operational execution and continuous improvement of the Global Business and Corporate Development (GB&CD) and SSG governance.
Main Responsibilities GB&CD (80% of the time):
- Supporting the GB&CD leadership team to develop a strategy for a strong execution discipline, a continuous improvement mantra and Agile mindset for all aspects of governance in order to support alignment across all levels of the organization concerning deal making
- Monitoring and keeping up to date the entire GB&CD deal flow database across the different type of deals
- Collecting and storing the other key materials to support the governance of the GB&CD, such as NPV models, governance presentations, Due Diligence reports etc
- Ensuring appropriate scheduling of governance meetings, ensuring timely delivery of material and ensuring minutes synthesis and follow up of key decisions
- Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality reports status of BD and AM projects to the company executive leadership and board of directors
The Senior Project Manager GB&CD will have to work very close to the following stakeholders for BD related topics:
- Senior Vice President, Global Business & Corporate Development to align on priorities and KPIs, escalate issues not solvable individually, discuss proposal for improvements
- GB&CD teams: working in close coordination to monitor project status and collect material information as needed
- Assistance teams: to facilitate scheduling of the governance meetings in a timely manner
- TO: as needed to align on possible changes to the reporting system, including but not limited to dashboard templates
- Executive Leadership: collect key insights and decision from governance meetings, submit surveys and collect feedback on process
The Senior Project Manager will have the opportunity to take part to GB&CD Leadership Teams meetings focused on GB&CD governance and related topics.
Main Responsibilities SSG (20% of the time):
- Coordinating and leading global projects / programs in SSG within the PMO framework, including all relevant dependencies
- Maintain strong alignment within the PMO team and the TO Office
- Ensuring appropriate scheduling of SSG governance meetings, and that key topics of synergies are well monitored and executed
- Ensuring consistency of SSG monthly reporting and appropriate internal and external communication on SSG topics
The Senior Project Manager GB&CD will have to work very close to the following stakeholders for SSG related topics and TO:
- Executive Vice President Strategy, Sustainability & Growth to align on priorities and KPIs, escalate issues not solvable individually, discuss proposals for improvement
- SSG LT to align on priorities and coordinate project status and reporting. The Senior Project Manager will have the opportunity to take part to the SSG LT meetings as needed.
- Executive Leadership: collect key insights and decision from governance meetings, submit surveys and collect feedback on process,
- Shared Service Operations manager: to facilitate organization of SSG related topics
- Seeking support of the TO leaders
Education
Bachelor’s degree
Experience and Skills Required
- At least 5 years of experience in the pharma industry, in areas of cross functional project management
- Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks simultaneously.
- Aptitude for analyzing processes, identifying areas for enhancement and improvements
- Aptitude to synthesize complex information into clear reporting and status updates
- Ability to prepare and maintain accurate documentation records

- Cooperative, empathic, approachable, and responsive to internal and external stakeholders, while at the same time able to influence and build strong partnerships with them
- Proactive, problem solver, with very solid organization attitude

Location and Travel
The position can be based in one of our legal entities in Europe
