Who we are looking for
Purpose
The International Markets Development Division (IMDD) is responsible for expanding and managing Chiesi's operations in international markets. This division focuses on portfolio strategy, commercial excellence,and the integration of various business units to enhance the company's presence and performance in growth and core markets.
Reporting to the International P&R & Market Access Lead, the International P&R & Market Access Manager supports the development and execution of international pricing and market access strategies for IMDD markets by providing robust analysis, value-based evidence, and operational support. This role ensures that pricing and reimbursement decisions are grounded in data, compliant with global frameworks, and enable sustainable portfolio growth across diverse market environments.
Main Responsibilities
Support Pricing Strategy and Analysis
- Conduct competitor pricing analyses and benchmark against reference pricing frameworks
- Track IRP impacts and provide input into strategic pricing scenarios for launches and renewals to ensure compliance with Global pricing policies
- Consolidate and validate pricing data to ensure compliance with global pricing policies
- Manage Pricing & Reimbursement process, coordinating internal stakeholders and ensuring full alignment with global strategy (Value Proposition, Pricing Policies)
Contribute to Market Access Planning
- Support the preparation of P&R dossiers and evidence packages for reimbursement submissions
- Gather local data and inputs from partners to strengthen payer value arguments
- Assist in monitoring access barriers and providing solutions to improve listing outcomes
Enable New Product Launches and Lifecycle Decisions
- Provide analytical and evidence-based input into launch access strategies
- Support lifecycle management decisions (tenders, price adjustments, withdrawals) with robust data
- Work closely with the International Pricing & Market Access Lead and Lifecycle & Launch Excellence Lead to align pricing and access with broader portfolio priorities
Ensure Alignment with Global and Local Stakeholders
- Collaborate with global pricing and HEOR teams to ensure local strategies align with global corridors and evidence plans
- Coordinate with local partners and distributors to collect, validate, and integrate pricing/access data into decision-making
- Support external vendor management for access-related studies and projects
Experience Required
We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience in pricing and market access, able to translate data into clear analyses, preparing dossiers, and support reimbursement processes across markets.
- Minimum 5 years experience in Market Access/Pricing/HEOR, preferably in pharma or biotech
- Solid knowledge of international reference pricing (IRP) mechanisms and their implications
- Experience preparing P&R dossiers and supporting new product launches
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and/or pricing tools
- Familiarity with payer decision-making processes and HTA requirements
- Experience in International or regional market access is essential (EU5, Canada, LATAM, Asia Pacific highly valued)
- Proven track record of reimbursement submission and pricing strategy
Education
Master’s degree in life science, economics, public health, or related fields, MBA, or PHD a plus
Languages
Fluent in English

Location
The role can be based in one of our affiliates in Europe. Availability to travel required.
