The ICT Department plays a pivotal role in supporting Chiesi’s evolution into a digital and data-driven company. It is structured around five strategic pillars: Skills, Team, ICT Global Architecture, Communication, and GICT Processes. Through this integrated approach, the ICT Department partners with the business to unlock value, drive transformation, and enable sustainable innovation across the Group.

Who we are looking for

This is what you will do

The IT Application Manager & Functional Business Analyst partners with Track & Trace and Health Safety Environment (HSE) teams to translate business needs into effective IT solutions. The role focuses on functional analysis, application ownership and solution evolution within a regulated pharmaceutical environment, with limited involvement in project management activities mainly related to feasibility studies.

You will be responsible for

  • Act as a trusted IT partner for track & trace, HSE and other relevant stakeholders
  • Collect, analyze and translate business requirements for the evolution of managed applications
  • Support the definition of future (“to‑be”) processes and functional solutions
  • Manage applications within own scope across their lifecycle, ensuring stability, compliance and continuous improvement, monitoring also their performance and adoption
  • Contribute to feasibility studies, impact assessments and solution evaluations
  • Support testing activities, documentation, change management and handover to support teams
  • Ensure adequate documentation and support change management activities to facilitate adoption
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners in line with ICT governance and GxP requirements

You will need to have

  • 5+ years of experience in IT roles, preferably as Functional Analyst and/or Application Manager
  • Solid knowledge of Manufacturing processes, ideally within a pharmaceutical or regulated environment
  • Proven experience working in regulated environments (GxP)
  • Strong analytical skills, proactive mindset and ability to work in international and cross-functional teams
  • Clear communication skills and customer‑oriented approach
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving attitude
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other scientific disciplines
  • English: minimum B2 level

We would prefer for you to have

  • Highly desirable: solid knowledge of track & trace and manufacturing processes. Experience with HSE processes is considered a plus.
  • Highly desirable: functional experience on SAP Advanced Track & Track for Pharmaceuticals or other Track & Trace solutions.

Location

  • Parma Headquarters with hybrid working arrangement combining presence in the office and remote working
  • Occasional international travel (up to 10%)
