Who we are looking for

Purpose

Based in the HQ and within the truly international environment of International Markets Development Division (covering 70 countries around the world), the IMDD Financial Controller will manage all the financial processes of controlling, reporting, and planning providing insights into the key business drivers. To do this he/she will deal with a variety of markets and develop close collaboration with several partners and with cross-functional colleagues from IMDD team and Global functions. 
 

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the IMDD Finance Director, the Financial Controller will: 

  • Support month-end and year-end close process ensuring compliance with global financial and accounting policies and procedures. Develop and prepare accurate and timely financial reporting package. 
  • Coordinate and support the financial planning, budget, and forecasting.  Contribute to the long-term plans.
  • Review monthly results by product and geography/partner, tracking KPIs, interpreting data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to identify risks & opportunities.
  • Cooperate and interact with global functions and several local departments to properly manage controlling activities and analysis. Be part of global and local cross-functional projects.   
  • Maintain close relationships with the commercial teams and grow into the business partnering role providing the financial view for business cases, new contracts, pricing decisions or product launches.
  • Assist with the assessment of local processes and improvement initiatives to advance the financial reporting effectiveness and to develop tailored solutions considering the peculiarities of our IMDD markets.
     

Experience Required

At least 4 years of experience in finance and controlling department in an international environment.

Education

University Degree in Business Administration/Economics

Languages

Fluent English both written and spoken. 

Technical Skills

  • Good knowledge of accounting principle and controlling processes.
  • Good knowledge of SAP/BW/BPC.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Power Point).
