Chiesi Global Manufacturing Division
Chiesi Farmaceutici’s three production plants are: the Officine Farmaceutiche di Parma (Italy), the Blois-La Chaussée Saint Victor plant (France) and the Santana de Parnaiba plant (Brazil). The plants produce a total of more than 110 million units per year.
The production area of Officine Farmaceutiche di Parma is the main strategic hub for the production and distribution of Chiesi products.
Here, solid medicines such as tablets and dry powders for inhalers, solutions and suspensions for inhalations and sterile suspension vials for endotracheal administration are produced.
The new Biotech Centre of Excellence for biological drug development and production will specialise in the development and production of active ingredients such as monoclonal antibodies, enzymes and other proteins.
Santana produces pressurised solutions and suspensions for inhalation therapy (MDI).
Blois specialises in dry powder inhalers and pressurised solutions for inhalation therapy and handles the final assembly stages of Metered-Dose Inhalers (MDI).
Who we are looking for
Purpose
The Supply Chain Excellence Specialist supports the Global Supply Chain Excellence Lead in implementing initiatives that enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain. The role focuses on enabling data-driven decision-making, assisting in the establishment and operation of a PMO (Project Management Office) service, and providing project support.
Main Responsibilities
1. Reporting and Dashboarding
• Collaborate with the Global Supply Chain Excellence Lead to gather reporting needs from various departments within the Global Supply Chain;
• Assist in designing, developing, and delivering customized reports and dashboards that empower departments to work autonomously with the tools provided;
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting outputs.
2. PMO Services Development and Delivery
• Work under the direction of the Global Supply Chain Excellence Lead to support the establishment and maintenance of a Project Management Office (PMO) service for the Global Supply Chain;
• Help develop standard templates, tools and processes for project tracking and reporting;
• Support project kickoffs by assisting in workshops, defining scopes, and creating initial plans;
• Assist in monitoring and tracking the progress of key supply chain projects, ensuring alignment with goals and timelines.
3. Strategic Project Support
• Provide support to the Global Supply Chain Excellence Lead on high-priority projects;
• Conduct research, prepare presentations, and analyze data to support decision-making;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help implement initiatives that drive supply chain improvements;
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and innovation within assigned projects.
Experience Required
About 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and project management.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
Languages
• Fluent English (both written and spoken);
• Additional language skills are a plus.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics);
• Understanding of project management methodologies and tools;
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
