Global Technical Operations & Supply 

Global Technical Operations & Supply (Global TechOp&S) is Chiesi’s global manufacturing and supply area, responsible for ensuring consistent, outstanding quality, service and value across our end‑to‑end supply chain. Global TechOp&S oversees the entire lifecycle of the drug: from process optimization and industrialization, to manufacturing, engineering, quality oversight, and supply chain management. Throughout this journey, Operational Excellence drives continuous improvement. This end‑to‑end model is powered by our four manufacturing sites - Parma (IT), Blois (FR), Santana de Parnaíba (BR), and Nerviano (IT) - together with our Virtual Plant network of external partners.

This is what you will do

The Global Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and completing complex projects both nationally and internationally, ensuring their successful completion within the assigned time and budget while guaranteeing compliance with safety and quality standards.

You will be responsible for

  • Drive major and strategic project (industrial and non-industrial) according to the consolidation or expansion of the network, ensuring that they are planned and executed according to the function's strategy.
  • Develop project goals and objectives in synergy with corporate and local functions.
  • Accountable for drive all the project phases, monitoring progress, ensuring timelines and budgets are met, and defining/implementing corrective actions if necessary
  • Manage the project team by defining roles and responsibilities and monitoring constraints and milestones.
  • Define and drive project plans such as Cost & Time Plan, Resource Plan, Risk Plan, Procurement Plan, Communication Plan, sustainability, and Energy assessment.
  • Coordinate and schedule different design phases such as design, construction, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), installation, SAT (Site Acceptance Test) using assigned SMEs.
  • Manage relationships with sponsors and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication through a defined and shared project governance in the initial phases.
  • Prepare project status reports by producing, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Manage and drive external companies or internal SMEs to develop project phases and support local structures in defining the impacts of new site implementations, reviewing cost estimates if necessary.

You will need to have

  • Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil or Electronic Engineering.
  • Significant experience in the pharmaceutical sector, including the management of complex national andinternational projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project development phases, from selection through close-out, and of project andengineering practices.
  • Good knowledge of GMP, Quality Assurance principles and relevant technical standards and regulations.
  • Ability to lead projects ensuring targets in terms of time, cost, quality, HSE and compliance.
  • Ability to coordinate design, execution activities and contract management across internal and externalstakeholders.

 

  • Strong organizational, planning and decision-making skills.
  • Leadership, teamwork and stakeholder management capabilities, with a strong business-orientedmindset.

Budgeted Salary Range

The budgeted salary range approved for this role is between €52.240 and €65.300. This range reflects the typical compensation expected for candidates with the experience and expertise required for the position.  

Final offer may vary based on the selected candidate's skills, experience, qualifications, overall profile, and internal equity considerations. 

This role is eligible to participate in an annual bonus scheme, subject to company and individual performance.

The package outlined above is based on the role being located in Italy. Where the role is offered in a different Country, the applicable salary, bonus and benefits will be aligned to the relevant local market and internal frameworks.
