Who we are looking for

Purpose

Chiesi is looking for someone to join the new Global Digital Communications and Social Media team. The role involves developing and overseeing digital content plans across multiple channels and regions, ensuring they align with business goals, optimizing performance, and employing data-driven approaches. This position requires working closely with corporate functions, local teams, and external agencies to support strategic initiatives and monitor channel performance.
 

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and publish compelling content for digital channels—including the institutional website, social media platforms, and group intranet—ensuring message consistency, a coordinated visual approach, and brand equity.
  • Support brand managers, corporate functions, and local markets by managing and coordinating global digital and social media campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of Chiesi’s digital channels (e.g., website, social media) to inform strategy and improve outcomes.
  • Support corporate strategic projects and website rebranding efforts, ensuring that digital content and performance align with overarching strategic goals.
  • Conduct research to monitor the evolution of digital channels, uncover audience insights, and identify trending topics and formats.
     

Experience Required

The ideal candidate is a digital marketing/communication professional with 3–5 years of experience driving results through strategic campaign management, performance tracking, and data-driven decision-making. 

He/she has a solid foundation built in corporate settings or digital agencies, and any experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be considered as a strong plus.
 

Languages

Fluent in English (native or advanced level). Italian is a plus.
 

Technical Skills

  • Understanding of social media governance and digital content strategy across platforms
  • Proven experience managing digital campaigns from planning to performance analysis
  • Strong writing skills for social media and websites, including personal branding on LinkedIn for top managers
  • Expertise in SEO/SEM best practices and performance optimization
  • Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Tools and platforms: Website analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Matomo, or similar platforms); social media listening (Talkwalker, Brand24, Meltwater or similar); social media management (Hootsuite, Sprinkl or similar); paid advertising (Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Business Manager, etc)  
     

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Passion for digital: Enthusiasm for social media, storytelling, and staying updated on emerging trends.
  • Collaborative attitude, with experience working across departments and with global teams.
  • Attention to detail: Ensuring the accuracy and quality of campaign deliverables, performance reports, and content across channels.
  • Project management: skilled at managing multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality across initiatives.
