Air and Care Franchise 

Within the three Business Units (Discover more here), Air and Care Franchises are responsible for the development and implementation of the Therapeutic Area Strategies. Each Franchise is organized by stage of development with fully empowered and enhanced teams of: Pipeline Development Team - focused on delivering innovation and programs leadership accountabilities in close collaboration with R&D, Commercial Portfolio Management Team - focused on maximizing the benefit for the patients and the full potential of marketed / close-to-launch assets, including Life Cycle Management strategies.

Air and Care Franchises are also supported by the Medical Affairs, Value & Access, and Business Excellence & Customer Experience Global functions.

Within these departments, you will actively support the Air and Care Franchises businesses. These units are responsible for the development and implementation of the Therapeutic Area Strategies. Each Franchise is organized by stage of development with fully empowered and enhanced teams of: Pipeline Development and Commercial Portfolio Management.

Who we are looking for

Purpose

The global Customer Insights & Business Analytics Manager is responsible for generating, collecting and analyzing Business Data and Customer Insights and transforming them into valuable knowledge and actionable insights to support the global decision-making processes on Chiesi brands and markets.
 

Main Responsibilities

  • Builds Business Cases for product performance evaluation, new launches, new geographies, new extension-line or new studies 
  • Manages Forecasting for the different Therapeutic Areas and Brands, supporting Marketing and other corporate functions on Long-Term Projections (volume, values and patient-based)
  • Provides key support and facilitation to Franchises for Commercial Evaluation of products in Pipeline or for new Acquisitions
  • Coordinates the target setting process, in collaboration with Mktg & Finance
  • Tracks the GSM dynamics and coordinates the PT assumptions process, building strong connections with Global Finance and affiliates
  • Drafts and present the S&T guidelines partnering with Marketing & Affiliates
  • Works closely & selects ext agencies to implement Global Cust Insight projects, coordinating marketing & affiliates and integrating their needs
  • Elaborates added-value insights from such projects to enable marketing to define and drive the most effective growth strategies for our brands
  • Facilitates the spreading of knowledge coming from such projects across the organization, leveraging all global and international platforms
  • Defines every year the Global Customer Insight projects plan for its BU
  • Ensures that the defined Global Customer Insight projects are included in Global and Local Plans and budgeted by the concerned functions
  • Reviews and approves all affiliates customer insights 
  • Participates in Extended Brand Teams and provides key feedbacks on commercial analysis and evaluations
  • Actively plays a role of strong contributor of BET (Business Excellence Team) and acts as first reference point for global Bus Analytics & Cust Insights
  • Actively participates in the preparation for quarterly business reviews and monthly GELT meetings by providing comprehensive performance insights to the involved teams
  • Builds PowerBi reports to enhance the effectiveness of performance analysis enabling data-driven decision making

Experience Required

At least 5 years experience in healthcare industry (pharma/medical devices)
 

Education

Background in business administration / economics / international relations or marketing

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills, ability to effectively communicate and present insights to executive
  • Strong team working skills
  • Ability to work simultaneously on different projects, Project Management
  • Strong customer orientation 

Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical and cross-functional working skills
  • Ability to combine various data sources to produce Business Analysis
  • Proven expertise in using data-visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI) 
  • Proven expertise in conducting Customer Insight Projects
  • Expertise with forecasting tools (e.g. Flexicast)

Languages

Fluent English

Location

Preferably based in the HQ in Parma; if not, regular travel to the HQ will be required
