Chiesi Corporate Functions
At Chiesi, the Corporate Functions serve as drive and support for the Group’s business operations. Encompassing key areas such as Global Finance, Global Procurement, Global ICT, Global Human Resources, Global Legal, Compliance & IP, and Global Communications & Public Affairs, these functions ensure consistency, efficiency, and operational integrity.
Complementing these functions, the Transformation Office is responsible for ensuring the strategic alignment of the organization. It promotes an integrated, digital, and customer-centric approach, supporting growth, efficiency, and value creation in an increasingly data-driven world. The Transformation Office ensures coherence between vision and execution, acting as a catalyst for change across the entire organization.
The Strategy, Sustainability & Growth Department is also part of the Corporate Functions. It includes areas such as Global Strategy, SV&S and Business Development, Competitive Intelligence, and other key capabilities. It is accountable for defining the ‘One Chiesi’ Strategy and allocating resources to create long-term, sustainable, shared value for the Group and its stakeholders.

Purpose
The person will be placed in a dynamic organization that operates internationally, and will have contacts with all the group's Affiliates
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for contract negotiating for Global Manufacturing (HQ and Sites), focusing on negotiating contracts for process equipment and all the services correlating (platform scale up, maintenance, …), spare parts and consumable linked to the production lines, leading the procurement process till the final contract definition and execution, in compliance with company procedures.
- Collaborating with internal Department to define and manage RFI/RFP and calls for tenders.
- Definition and negotiation of the contractual instrument suitable for the context, such as Purchase Order, Procurement Contracts, Master Service Agreement, etc. with the support of Corporate Legal and the internal clients.
- Creation and sending purchase orders to the supplier in digital and/or paper format.
- Carrying out appropriate actions towards suppliers to comply with contractual terms and the adequacy of supplies in collaboration with Internal Customers.
- Tracking, managing and monitoring the market, challenging supplier cost increases and alternative supplier selection, proposal of suitable supply alternatives to internal customers
- Creation and maintenance of the partnership relationship with Internal Customers with the aim of supporting them from the beginning in the selection of suppliers and to implement all the negotiation strategies aimed at obtaining the best purchasing conditions for goods and services.
- Support Affiliates in strategic projects;
- Individuate suppliers that can support globally Chiesi Group, issuing
- Master Agreements or sharing best practices and knowledge of the specific category
- Management of the strategic relationship with suppliers also for their qualification based on company policies
Experience Required
At least 6 months of experience in procurment functions, experience in managing, negotiating and contracting of Indirect categories will be a plus.
Education
Preferred Master’s Degree in Law or Engineering
Languages
Fluent in English (knowledge of French will also be evaluated as a plus)
Technical Skills
Knowledge of SAP
