Who we are looking for

This is what you will do

Within the International Division, the candidate will serve as the Finance Business Partner for the Core Markets Business Unit, supporting management in strategic decision-making and ensuring robust financial governance across the area.

 

The Business Unit is responsible for managing commercial partnerships across 36 markets spanning the Balkans, Baltics, Central Asia, North Africa, and Latin America, including countries such as Croatia, Serbia, Ukraine, Kazakistan, Tunisia, Algeria, Colombia, and Argentina. In this role, the candidate will work closely with management and commercial partners, providing financial analysis, supporting planning and forecasting processes, monitoring business performance, and delivering actionable insights and recommendations to drive strategic decisions and profitable business growth

 

You will be responsible for

Reporting to the IMDD Finance Director, the Financial Controller will:

  • Support month-end and year-end close process ensuring compliance with global financial and accounting policies and procedures. Develop and prepare accurate and timely financial reporting package.
  • Coordinate and support the financial planning, budget, and forecasting.  Contribute to the long-term plans.
  • Review monthly results by product and geography/partner, tracking KPIs, interpreting data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to identify risks & opportunities.
  • Cooperate and interact with global functions and several local departments to properly manage controlling activities and analysis. Be part of global and local cross-functional projects.  
  • Maintain close relationships with the commercial teams and grow into the business partnering role providing the financial view for business cases, new contracts, pricing decisions or product launches.
  • Assist with the assessment of local processes and improvement initiatives to advance the financial reporting effectiveness and to develop tailored solutions considering the peculiarities of our IMDD markets.

You will need to have

  • University Degree in Business Administration/Economics
  • At least 4 years of experience in finance and controlling department in an international environment.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principle and controlling processes.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluent English

 

  • Robust analytical skills and critical thinking.
  • Solid communications skills and interpersonal skills to cultivate relationships with different stakeholder in a multicultural environment.
  • Curiosity and solution-oriented approach.
  • Collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility to handle changing priorities and tight deadlines.

We would prefer for you to have

 Knowledge of SAP/BW/BPC

Location

Parma, with the possibility of working remotely 2–3 days a week 

Compensation Range

The minimum salary for this role is €52.000, aligned to our established salary framework. The final offer will reflect the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations. 

This role is eligible to participate in an annual bonus scheme, subject to company and individual performance.
