Chiesi Global Rare Diseases
Chiesi Global Rare Diseases is a Chiesi Group’s business unit established in February 2020 and focused on research, development and commercialization of treatments and patient support services for rare and ultra-rare disorders, many of whom have limited or no treatments available.
This unit is based in Boston, Massachusetts, with a strong synergy with the headquarters in Parma.

What we are looking for
Purpose
The Business Analyst GRD EU & International will be part of the Business Operations Eu & International team and will support the Senior Business Analyst GRD EU & International.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Business Analyst EU & International in Corporate RD products revenue planning & analysis
- Support the Senior Business Analsyst to prepare template and analysis to build reliable budgets and estimates collected from Commercial leaders and distributors:
- Provide insightful revenue reporting & analysis to EU & International Management on a monthly basis.
- Support the preparation and review of annual sales rolling forecast and budget for Corporate RD products and present to Head of EU&Int.l.
- Submit Corporate RD EU & International Sales rolling forecast & budget and related comments to finance for global consolidation in line with agreed timelines.
- Support the Senior Business Analyst EU & International for patient tracking in the Market Model tools: Market Model "Super User" provide on-going improvements and enhancements to the current model in place as well as providing support to EU & International team for Market Model Tool by assisting with all queries and correcting all issues in a timely manner to ensure all data on system is accurate. Provide a reporting pack on a monthly basis to EEU & International Management team.
- Closely work with Customer Service Team to keep track on monthly/quarterly/yearly Corporate RD products objectives and support the demand planning process to ensure long term forecasting is accurate and challenge GM's if any discrepancies are identified.
- Support the Senior Business Analyst EU & International to develop business cases or any kind of analysis/KPI’s to support governance & decision-making processes, to analyse potential opportunities for product launches in new markets as well as potential in EU&Int.l markets for new indications - providing analysis of key financial information pivotal to the decision making.
- Development of long term financial strat plans for Corporate RD products EU & International taking into consideration key factors in the market. (competition, policitical issues, price changes, new markets)
- Support the EU & International operational projects as required. Preparation of profitability analysis to provide mgmt with insights to make commercial decisions and support EU&Int.l operational projects as required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across various functions and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance processes and controls you are responsible for.
Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Analysis
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Excellent knowledge of Office packages (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Power Bi knowledge is highly desirable d
Education
Degree and/or Post-degree (MBA) in Business Administration or Economics
Soft Skills
- Strong time management and workload prioritization skills
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate professionally and effectively with people at all levels of the organization and across functions
- Ability to work in ambiguous and changing situations
- Ability to identify problems and address them quickly, with minimal direction in order to minimize impact across the team or the organisation
Languages
Fluent English
Location
Preferably based in Parma; if not, regular presence in the HQ will be required.
