Who we are looking for

Purpose

We are looking for an experienced and motivated BI Project Manager to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing Business Intelligence projects, with a strong attention to detail and data quality. The BI Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering BI projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and with the expected results.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage Business Intelligence projects from start to finish, including defining objectives, creating detailed project plans, and managing resources.
  • Collaborate with solution design and development teams, business analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and understood.
  • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or obstacles that may impact project delivery.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity of implemented BI solutions.
  • Regularly communicate with project stakeholders, providing status updates and managing expectations.
  • Manage project budget, ensuring expenses align with the approved financial plan.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in project management processes and BI solutions.

Experience Required

  • Around 4-5 4 years’ experience in managing Business Intelligence projects, preferably in a complex business environment.
  • Experience in Life Science industry can be a plus.

Education

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong results orientation and attention to detail.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of BI tools and technologies, such as SQL, Power BI and other data visualization tools.

Languages

Fluent English

Location

Ideally based in Parma. If not based in Parma, regular travel to the HQ will be required.
