Who we are looking for
Purpose
In partnership with Business France, the V.I.E. program provides an opportunity for young graduates from the European Economic Area, aged under 28, to expand their horizons and undertake full-time responsibilities while working for Chiesi. This experience allows participants to immerse themselves in new cultures and languages.
Join the Global Public Affairs Team, you will play a vital role in co-creating Public Affairs roadmap and activities relevant to Chiesi’s Franchise AIR . Reporting to the Global Public Affairs Manager AIR, you will be responsible for providing timely insights and intelligence to inform strategic decision-making, engagement opportunities and advocacy efforts.
Main Responsibilities
The Public Affairs Intern will:
- Support the development and execution of advocacy strategies and campaigns, including drafting position statements, briefing materials, and other advocacy resources.
- Actively participate in cross-functional teams to assess Public Affairs strategy and tactics in support of the Franchise AIR commercial priorities.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends, and stakeholder perspectives that may contribute to Chiesi’s Franchise AIR strategic objectives.
- Compile regular reports and updates on key developments.
- Support the organization and execution of dedicated advocacy campaigns.
- Support the engagement of relevant stakeholders, including government officials, regulatory agencies, industry associations, advocacy groups, and other key influencers.
- Monitor and track legislative, regulatory, market and policy developments at the local, national, and international levels, relevant to our organization's areas of focus.
- Monitor media coverage and public discourse related to our organization's priority issues, providing analysis and insights to inform communication strategies.
- Actively participate and contribute to the development and growth of the Global Public Affairs team.
Experience Required
Minimum experience in public affairs and/or government relations.
Education
Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, law, communications, or related field
Advanced degree is preferred.

About the VIE Program
Through a partnership with Business France, a French entity that promotes the internationalization of French companies, Chiesi France is seeking an international intern!
Chiesi adheres to the V.I.E Program, which allows a young person, an European Citizen between the ages of 18 and 28, to be engaged in a 24-month international internship.
Please consider that as part of your international development, you cannot perform a VIE in the country of your citizenship
The person will be based in Brussels.

Contract period: 24 months
