Global Communications & Public Affairs Department
Global Communications & Public Affairs (GC&PA) translates the Chiesi Group’s strategy into programs and plans across internal communication and external relations. It also participates in strategic decisions that impact the Company’s global reputation, contributing to creating and maintaining meaningful relationships with all the people and institutions around and inside Chiesi. GC&PA works to convey quality and accessible information both inside and outside the Company, while also driving the business and guiding strategic external engagement within our global community to build and protect our reputation. To achieve this, the department is structured into dedicated teams: Internal Communications, External Communications, Digital Communications, Air & Care Communications, Rare Communications and the Public Affairs team.

Within the Global Public Affairs Team, you will work with the Head of our EU Office and will be involved in the interactions and relationships with policy-makers and other stakeholders relevant to the company's business and strategy.
You will be responsible for
- Supporting the department in monitoring and analyzing EU policy developments (including parliamentary activities) regarding healthcare, industrial policies and sustainability.
- Contributing to policy related communications efforts internally and externally, including position papers and advocacy documents.
- Project coordination of monthly internal policy newsletter together with Brussels and Washington DC offices.
- Attending relevant conferences and events of interest for Chiesi.
- Assisting in the organization of meetings and external/internal policy events.
- Collaborating with the broader Communication & External relations team to draft speaking points or communication material for Senior Leadership presenting political content.
- Supporting overall coordination of company positions on key public and internal policy issues in Europe and globally.
- You will be also involved in engagement with EU-level policy makers and civil society and trade associations.
You will need to have
- At least 1 year in a similar position.
- Master’s Degree in Economics or Social Science
- Fluent English
- Growth Mindset and Analytical Thinking
- Proactive Problem Solving
- Collaborative Communication
We would prefer for you to have
- Previous experience in Public Affairs or similar roles within Pharma industries would be a plus.
- French/Italian or another European language at fluent level would be a plus.

VIE Programme
The V.I.E. – Volontariat International en Entreprise is an official programme promoted by the French government and managed by Business France (Programma V.I.E - Business France Italia). It is designed to offer young professionals an international Internship
Assignment duration: 24 months
Starting From: June or September
Eligibility criteria
- The candidate must be aged between 18 and 28 at the time of registration
- The candidate must be a citizen of one of the countries of the European Economic Area (EEA)
- The candidate must be undertaking their first V.I.E. assignment
- The candidate must not be a citizen of the host country nor have previously been employed by the company in that country prior to the start of the V.I.E.
