To oversee the delivery of the Chiesi AIR Omnichannel strategy and executional plan, leading the Omnichannel team to co-ordinate and execute planned omnichannel marketing campaigns and contributory channel innovation and maintenance projects. This role ultimately steers the rollout of the Respiratory Portfolio strategy to our customers, offering them a great CX and helping to deliver against our commercial goals. 

You will be responsible for

  • Oversee and guide the execution of the Omnichannel projects / tactics in the 2026 UK Respiratory plan, contributing to the effective implementation of the Respiratory Portfolio strategy, along with members of the customer strategy marketing team and wider cross-functional teams 
  • Manage a team of x3 Omnichannel Managers supporting their wellbeing at work, overseeing/supporting their activity and workload, providing coaching and professional development support and managing their training and regular objective-review processes  
  • Manage the 2026 Omnichannel budget in line with established forecasts; re-forecasting if required and delivering the planned tactical spend throughout the year  
  • Ability to work at both ‘up and down’ due to vacant Omnichannel Lead position (Maternity Leave) - both helping to support the day-to-day executional responsibilities of the Omnichannel Team and driving and reporting on Omnichannel best-practice across AIR as relevant 
  • Work closely with Brand/Therapy Area (TA) Strategy teams and Medical teams, supporting the Omnichannel Managers with the co-ordination of/development and approval of campaign tactics and content assets within approval systems 
  • Oversee campaign progress via the Respiratory content dashboard/tracker and campaign plans, supporting the Omnichannel & Strategy Managers with counterpart agencies to co-ordinate agreed tactics in line with budget and timelines 
  • Champion best-practice processes for development, management and launch of multi-channel assets with the wider Marketing Team helping to avoid project challenges, duplicated efforts or missed opportunities and ensuring project efficiencies wherever possible 
  • Oversee the maintenance of Respiratory websites, CRM content/capabilities and media outputs and manage the relationship, incl. conducting 6-weekly reviews, with development and media agencies 
  • Support the Omnichannel Managers to ensure relevant KPIs for omnichannel activity are set in agreement with Brand/TA Strategy and Business Excellence (CRM & Data) teams and that campaign measurement frameworks, proper tracking and insight capture mechanisms are adhered to/in place for reporting and analysis against set KPIs 
  • Support the Omnichannel Managers, Business Excellence (CRM & Data) teams to analyse results and interpret data into meaningful insights providing recommendations to help steer decision-making and innovations in channel execution, in collaboration with the Brand/TA Strategy teams 
  • Maintain close engagement with Sales activity & strategy to understand valuable insight and support the Sales role in campaign orchestration 
  • For 2027 planning, collaborate with Head of Marketing & Marketing Strategy Leads to review the Omnichannel strategy for the Respiratory BU, defining projects to deliver innovations against established channel roadmaps and supporting all Marketing Managers in devising an aligned tactical plan, with budgets and achievable timelines  
  • For 2027 planning, provide counsel on omnichannel activity to Brand/TA Strategy teams using established marketing methodology and frameworks, supporting them and agencies as relevant in identifying appropriate tactics/touchpoints aligned to campaign objectives and audience needs and insights 
  • Ability to successfully peer review/manage marketing materials through relevant approval processes from concept to implementation 
  • Effective and timely communication to all stakeholders within Chiesi UK and Global Marketing as relevant  
  • Respond and deliver to ad-hoc work requests from line manager and/or senior managers 
  • Ensure strict compliance to the Company Code of Ethics, company values, standards (SOPs) and the ABPI Code of Practice 

You will need to have

  • Required high-level of understanding and experience in multi-channel marketing strategy, principles and technical execution including web platforms, CRM, email, third-party media and analytics; and delivering commercial results through such activities; preferable in the pharmaceutical industry or a similar highly-regulated industry 
  • Required track record of managing high impact, cross-functional projects, including omnichannel strategy, tactical planning and implementation, stakeholder engagement/management and financial management accountability - budget forecasting and cost-centre management 
  • Ideally educated to degree level, preferably in business, marketing or life sciences; will consider relevant work experience  
  • Preferred line-management experience  
  • Excellent oral and written communicator 
  • Desirable, but not required, Veeva document review experience  
  • Desirable, but not required, comprehensive knowledge or detailed understanding of the ABPI code in relation to the promotion of medicines within the UK (preferred, however training can be provided)
