We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Content Manager (COPD) to join our AIR Marketing team, based in our Head Office in Heald Green, Manchester.

The in the role of Marketing Content Manager (COPD), you will be responsible for the development of medical/marketing content for the marketing teams in-line with customer needs and corporate strategy. Ultimately, the Content Manager is responsible for the marketing content planning for the AIR Franchise, based on data as well as field insights and local tactics.
The successful candidate will have marketing channel writing experience, e.g. content generation for promo materials, websites, emails, blog posts/articles, social media content etc. You will also have the ability to understand complex information and convert this into digestible and engaging stories for a variety of audiences.

Purpose
The COPD/ASTHMA Content Manager will be responsible for the development of medical/marketing content for the marketing teams in-line with customer needs and corporate strategy.
Ultimately, the Content Manager is responsible for the marketing content planning for the AIR Franchise, based on data as well as field insights and local tactics.
Profile
Marketing channel writing experience, e.g. content generation for promo materials, websites, emails, blog posts/articles, social media content etc.
Ability to understand complex information and convert this into digestible and engaging stories for a variety of audiences
Close collaboration with the medical and marketing teams as well as the sales teams to ensure that the content that we present in various channels fits the needs of our customers
Main Responsibilities
- Write, edit and proof-read promotional and educational marketing content across different channels for the Respiratory (AIR) portfolio, in line with the UK Air Plan
- Work with the Omnichannel team/MKTG/Medical Team to create, update and maintain the Chiesi Air editorial calendar to track and manage content across channels, audiences and time
- Work with agencies to support external content development, providing guidance on content goals, quality and completing reviews
- Deep knowledge of the UK Complaint rules to ensure that the content produced is aligned with the code of ethics.
- Management of approved materials/assets - Expiry dates, reapprovals, withdrawals
- High abilities to convert scientific information to marketing content
- Veeva document review experience or similar content approval systems (desirable, however training can be provided)
- Hard Copy and Digital Material Management, including Linney and recalls.
- Comprehensive knowledge or detailed understanding of the ABPI code in relation to the promotion of medicines within the UK (preferred, however training can be provided)
Role Requirements
- Educated to degree level, preferably in business or marketing
- Professional marketing qualification – such as CIM
- Experience of leading the brand planning process in a pharma marketing role.
- Product life cycle management experience – launch to LOE
- Experience of managing others and/ or leading teams successfully via matrix management
- Knowledgeable on NHS structures
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, attention to detail is critical
- Proven track record of managing complex cross functional projects, including planning, stakeholder engagement, budget management and implementation.
- Document review experience essential
- ABPI qualified & commercial signatory experience desired
