Working closely with the Legal & Compliance team and stakeholders across the organisation, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of important areas of responsibility while continuing to develop your expertise and professional confidence.

Key areas of responsibility include:

•    Acting as the business lead for UK and EU (with support from EU colleagues) data protection and privacy matters, helping the organisation navigate risk and maintain robust compliance practices

•    Supporting the business on emerging legal and regulatory developments, including artificial intelligence and cyber security

•    Leading and maintaining ISO compliance programmes, including ISO 37001 and 27001, and supporting future accreditation initiatives

•    Providing practical, commercially focused legal advice to colleagues across commercial, medical, regulatory, HR, and corporate functions

•    Developing and delivering engaging legal and compliance training and supporting the evolution of policies, guidance materials, and templates

•    Supporting audits, investigations, and compliance reviews, helping to drive continuous improvement across the business

•    Identifying and mitigating legal and regulatory risks across a broad range of subject areas

•    Contributing strategic insights and reporting to senior leadership on compliance, governance, competition law, anti-bribery and corruption, and data protection matters

•    Supporting wider legal team initiatives and gaining exposure to the varied and dynamic work that comes with an in-house legal career

Why join Chiesi?

We offer a competitive reward and benefits package, including:

• Competitive salary

• Annual performance-related bonus

• 25 days annual leave plus 2 paid wellbeing days

• Private medical and dental insurance

• Group personal pension scheme
