We are excited to announce an exceptional career opportunity for two qualified and motivated individuals to join our team as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL). Our organization is a dynamic and innovative leader in the healthcare industry, and we are seeking a highly skilled professional to play a crucial role in bridging the gap between science and clinical practice.

 

One MSL will primarily focus on the South-West region of Hungary, while the other will concentrate on Pest country, the North and North-East territories, ensuring comprehensive coverage and impact in their respective areas.
 

Areas of Responsibilities

 

  • Plan, develop and conduct local non-interventional studies (NIS) in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitoring of local NISs, continuous support of study sites and investigators
  • Support international trials/studies sponsored by Chiesi SpA ot other affiliate
  • Drafting medical scientific reports for internal stakeholders
  • Collaborating with HCPs in the creation of medical scientific articles in Hungarian and English for local and international publications
  • Provide high quality medical information to HCPs regarding the company’s Air/Care products and its associated areas upon direct request from HCPs
  • Remain up-to-date with relevant clinical development plans of the products and disease areas  
  • Support commercial colleagues with regards to formulary applications, answering queries on clinical development plans and support audits, guidelines development and medical education seminars 
  • Identify and develop professional relationship and collaboration with the healthcare community, especially KOLs in the dedicated therapeutic areas 
  • Provide KOLs and researchers with scientific information in accordance to local legislative regulations and Chiesi standards and establish long term relationships working in specific therapeutic fields 
  • Increase available scientific knowledge by conducting Regional Advisory Boards
  • Representing Chiesi on national and international scientific events, symposiums and congresses 
  • Report feedback from customer on scientific issues (product related) and information gathered regarding the development of relevant therapeutic and disease areas
  • Support Market Access colleagues in conducting scientific training to decision makers (ad-hoc)
  • Ensuring company processes are compliant with local regulations, by participating in the approval process of marketing materials

 

Skills, competencies and experience

 

  • University degree in the field of medicine or pharmacy; minimum requirement: MSc in biology, biotechnology or similar studies
  • Several years of working experience in pharmaceutical industry, including medical affairs; in addition, clinical, regulatory, research and development, or other relevant experience welcome
  • Prior experience in pulmonology strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the Hungarian market
  • Experience in medical education and KOL management
  • Effective communication of evidence based scientific information
  • Fluency in English is required, as well as local language 
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence
  • Self-driven and proactive personality with good organisational skills
  • Strong motivation to work both independent but also in collaboration with an international and partly virtual team environment
  • Willingness to travel 
  • Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office and state of the art communication tools
