Purpose
To lead the medical department in Chiesi Romania while supporting through medical knowledge, compliance and ethical behavior the whole medical & commercial activity.

Main Responsibilities
• Lead the Medical Department with aim to develop and sustain Strategical and Tactical medical Plan for the organization in Romania
• Lead, manager of a the team with 3 MSLs
• Develop an inclusive Medical Affairs team, cross-collaboration inside the Medica Affairs department, nationally and at regional level, contribute at CEE level Medical Affairs team, stay well connected with internal other departments
• Ensure optimal communication & collaboration between the Medical Affairs department and other departments: Marketing, Field Force, Regulatory, Finance, etc
• Develop and ensure the proffesional relationship and proactivelly propose Medical Projects in relation with external stakeholders (KOLs, Specialist key Influencers, Professors, Medical Associations, Patients associations, and health authorities- National Medical Agency, National Insurance House, Romanian Health Ministry)
• Craft and implement Customer Medical Plan aligned with Global & Regional Medical Affairs Objectives, with subplans for each therapeutic area.
• Lead and ensure implementing the Operational Medical Plans and to manage, evaluate the quality and compliance level of execution.
• Coordinate all activities initiated by the Medical department
• Manage the Medical Affairs departments budget in line with the company objectives
• Be proactive in proposing Medical projects that drive increase customer experience, in scientific and educational field
• Support with medical knowledge, develop continuously and identify the medical information regarding Portfolio products for each therapeutic area
• Craft and deliver training with medical content to whole organization :Field Force, Marketing, own team
• Responsible to initiate, approve and authorize the clinical studies (4th phase) in line with internal procedures and legal regulations.
• Be part of approval process on promotional and educational materials development and check requirements in partnership with marketing department
• Part of the compliance approval flow, in line with internal procedures and industry regulations
• Act as back-up for pharmacovigilance and quality matters within the company, in line with internal procedures, participate in internal and / or external audit, lead with Compliance, PV topics
• Responsible for maintaining and updating the database of customers and key persons in the designated territory of the MSL team, manage MSLs geographical teritory, follow-up on reporting system of MSLs, drive positive customer experiences
• Inform customers and potential customers about the company's activities
• Part of leadership team ensures and aligns all activities inside medical departments to support and offer the best medical practices for company objectives achievements
Job requirements
• Ideally already a Medical Manager/ Medical Advisor, or very experienced MSL
• Medical/Pharmaceutical background
• Leadership capabilities
• Ethical & integrity skills, positive attitude, flexibility & agility , interest to develop and learn
• Available for Medical Affairs related travelling
