Chiesi is seeking a Medical information & Pharmacovigilance Officer to join the Pharmaceutical Affairs team. This role offers a great opportunity for graduates with a health care background. What will you do?

 

As a Medical information & Pharmacovigilance Officer you are part of the Pharmaceutical Affairs team. You take care of a wide variety of medical and quality questions related to the correct use, safety, and technical aspects of the Chiesi products and ensure a proper follow-up. This function includes several administrative activities as documentation, completing and follow up on safety reports and keeping databases up-to-date.


An important part of the role is contact with customers. You are the first point of contact for pharmacists, patients and doctors for all questions regarding the use of medication.


Your responsibilities:

 

  • Register, document, report and follow up on incoming safety reports;
  • Maintain Chiesi databases;
  • Handle customer questions in the use of their medication;
  • Act as the first contact person and gatekeeper in case of customer questions related to the use of Chiesi’s medical products;
  • Reply to customers in case of device related questions, including inhalation technique and storage conditions through standard responses;
  • Transfer questions/information to the appropriate department in case of medical questions, quality complaints and/or safety reports;
  • Organize team meetings and events;
  • Handle financial-administrative matters for the Pharmaceutical Affairs team and take care of the complete PO/PR process.

Who are we looking for?

 

Someone with an eye for detail and good communication skills. You are service-oriented, helpful and have a customer friendly approach. You have a hands-on mindset and know how to work with deadlines. This role offers a great opportunity for someone graduated and who wants to start and grow her/his career in pharmaceutical affairs.  

 

Next to that you have:

 

  • Graduaat or bachelors degree in a pharmaceutical or medical direction, e.g. health care management, pharmaceutical science or nursing.
  • Knowledge of and experience with medical information and/or pharmacovigilance is a plus;
  • Experience with the use of digital information systems;
  • Excellent oral and written communicative skills in Dutch, French and English.
