Chiesi Benelux is seeking a truly passionate Account Manager for the region East Flanders in Belgium. Preferably you live in the region East Flanders.

What will you do?


As an Account Manager you arrange for an optimal customer process, with high customer satisfaction levels for your own accounts and the surrounding catchment area. In doing so, the Account Manager primarily ensures that profitable, long-term customer relationships are established, maintained, and continued and that patients gain sustainable access to the lung portfolio.


Your key tasks and activities will be:


  • Prepare, implement, and adjust strategic account plans in your territory cross functionally. Monitor, review and adapt the plans.
    • Understand customers’ needs and expectations, collect market insights and identify strategic opportunities to achieve short- and long-term business objectives.
    • Initiate, implement, and execute new added value projects/services to meet customers’ requirements in line with your account plan strategic objectives and product’s portfolio strategy.
  • Continually build and map long lasting trustful relationships with key accounts and its stakeholders 
    • Manage his/her customer database and update when needed.
    • Maintain accurate coverage of designed territory and ensure full compliance with CRM reporting requirements in line with Company policy guidelines. 
    • Apply the Chiesi segmentation principles to ensure targeted customers are approached with optimal digital and non-digital communication tools and services.
  • Responsible to ensure that the targeted customers are updated on our product strategy and communication.
    • Advise and inform customers about Chiesi, its services, products, and future developments in your respective therapeutic area.
    • Organization and execution of local symposia, educations, and workshops with the key customers.
  • Proactively discuss information about products inclusion in hospital formularies
  • Maintain excellent on-going knowledge of disease areas and products by attending relevant training sessions and follow up literature allowing to discuss/present product messages with scientific knowledge during face-to-face or in group meetings.
  • Participate in relevant scientific meetings/congresses. 
  • Ensuring compliance within all activities to maintain the highest standards of patients focused ethical conduct in line with Chiesi’s values.
  • Consistently ensure operating in accordance with local laws and regulations.

Who are we looking for?


A strategic and bold Account Manager with an entrepreneurial mindset. As an Account Manager at Chiesi you can bring high value and a mix of scientific/commercial expertise to our customers thanks to account planning.


  • Bachelor or Master degree in science, (para) medical or economics. Business management is not mandatory but considered as an asset.
  • You have a commercial mindset.
  • You have knowledge of and experience with the Belgian healthcare landscape.
  • You have a practical knowledge of CRM systems.
  • You have experience with sales processes and communication at different levels.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical aids industry is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communicative skills in both Dutch and/or French and English
