Qui nous recherchons

Role

As a Financial Director, you will be a member of the CODI (Leadership team), playing a key role with the management team to drive the business to achieve its strategical goals.

You will lead and oversee financial, operational, and strategic aspects of Finance as well as Accounting, Controlling, Indirect Procurement, including NHCO and you will work in close collaboration with GMD in the financial management of the Blois plant.

 

As a member of the leadership team (CODI) and Manager of a team

We expect you to be an active player of the CODI to drive performance and the strategic agenda for the future, working in close collaboration with other CODI members. 

You will have overall leadership responsibilities as leading and developing the team and support, promote and live our shared value principles.

Financial Management

You will:

  • develop and implement financial strategies to support company’s overall objectives
  • oversee budgeting, financial forecasting and reporting processes
  • ensure compliance with financial regulations and pharmaceutical standards

 

Accounting and Controlling

You will:

  • direct and manage the accounting and controlling functions
  • monitor and analyse financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • implement and maintain robust internal controls

Procurement

You will:

  • develop and execute indirect procurement strategies along the global guidelines to secure cost-effective and high-quality goods and services, including indirect purchasing for Blois plant
  • negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve favourable terms and conditions
  • drive continuous improvement in the procurement process

NHCO

You will:

  • work in collaboration with NHCO Finance Director and local team to ensure alignment to practices, participating in the main decision-making process (strategical projects and or impactful decisions)
  • align and review the BDG assumptions/ collaborating to ensure “Chiesi in France” spirit

 

Plant Blois

You will:

  • ensure good collaboration and proper governance with GMD Finance team on several shared topics like product flow (tax perspective) Transfer price definition,TNMM, tax subventions, external audit process etc.
  • drive the right funding strategy to support the rapid expansion of Blois plant (CAPEX), approving it with the Global Treasury & Global Finance

 

 

Skills required for the position

 

Training/Studies

  • Degree in Business, Finance or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus

 

Experience

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Finance Director or similar position
  • Ability to work in international environment (and participate & lead international  projects) 
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical industry is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement, and project management

 

Professional skills

  • Proven experience in Business Partnering, to collaborate and drive decision taken (investments, divestments, resource allocation)
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
  • Excellent knowledge of English, French nice to have
