Chiesi is seeking a Head of CARE to join the Benelux affiliate

What will you do?

 

As a Head of CARE you make an important contribution to the realisation of the sales targets for the products and the improvement of Chiesi’s CARE market position. You will reinforce the brand towards the outside world. The activities to achieve this include monitoring the market developments and trends, identifying chances, and developing and implementing communication and product plans by means of promotional and informative tools.

 

The Head of CARE is responsible for co-managing the turnover/sales targets and overseeing the CARE portfolio’s forecasting, performance monitoring and analysis, and development of the short- and long-term portfolio and product strategies in line with the corporate vision.

 

Next to this you are member of the Chiesi Benelux Leadership team. In this role you will use you will use your entrepreneurial and senior operational & business knowledge to lead the CARE function and for ensuring timely delivery of accurate and insightful information to support Chiesi’s corporate vision and objectives. You will drive performance through the provision of commercial insights, establishing key initiatives and ensuring strategic outcomes are adhered to. This role reports directly to the General Manager.

 

Furthermore, you will: 

 

  • Develop portfolio, product strategies and annual product plan for the short and medium term;
  • Formulate the (internal and external) communication strategy, monitor and assess the implementation;
  • Arrange and assesses the forecast and planning;
  • Initiate market research and analyse sales figures;
  • Identify and implement innovative concepts and helps to ensure that the strategic omni-channel marketing mix is defined and embedded;
  • Develop and maintain a strong Key Opinion Lead (KOL) and stakeholder network within referrers and other important (new) healthcare parties;
  • Have an active contribution to the organisation’s commercial targets;
  • Identify chances for company growth and competitive edge;
  • Implement and manage campaigns and tactics and arranges the launch of products;
  • Take care of the development of materials and informative tools aimed at promoting the products among healthcare providers, patients and pharmacies;
  • Contribute to the continual process of improving the working methods, procedures and the quality of the services;
  • Drive high performing culture, blending teams together across the Chiesi Group;
  • Uphold a culture of quality, and transparency customer focus, entrepreneurship and success;
  • In parallel to corporate strategies and objectives, ensuring that Change Management projects are implemented in line with our global standards and market requirements, in coordination with the General Manager;
  • Supporting the senior management in ensuring that all managerial decisions are in line with local legal regulations.

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Master’s degree or equivalent by experience in marketing, commercial economics or business administration education program;
  • Minimum of 10 years of recent working experience in a similar and/or relevant environment; 
  • Experience in medical, pharmaceutical, or medical devices a must;
  • Experience with project-based working and the independent management and coordination of (marketing) projects;
  • Strong analytical thinking: Capable of defining complex problems and identifying novel approaches and solutions;
  • Strong leadership and Team Management: Able to lead/drive remote and virtual teams, relevant work-streams, and exercise influence in decision-making processes;
  • Established entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to work in a fast-paced changing environment;
  • Competent problem solver who is resourceful and analytical with strong organizational and leadership abilities;
  • Organizational buy-in; the position requires building/maintaining relationships with internal customers;
  • Strategic thinking: able to see and understand trends and activities and relate their impact to the “bigger” strategic picture/questions;
  • Ability to prioritize and resolve trade-offs between competing demands;
  • Knowledge of and experience with omni-channel marketing and branding;
  • Excellent oral and written communicative skills in English (Dutch is a bonus).
