Rare Disease Scientific Manager CEE
We are looking for Scientific Manager located in Prague (Czech Republic)or Bratislava (Slovakia), who would provide scientific / medical support to internal and external customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide high quality, accurate and timely scientific advice to healthcare professionals regarding the company’s rare disease products and its associated areas.
- Support commercial colleagues with regards to formulary applications, answering queries regarding clinical development plans and support ad-hoc projects like audits, guidelines development and medical education seminars.
- Provide strong interaction with KOLs and researchers with scientific information in accordance with local legislative regulations and Chiesi standards and establish long term relationships working in specific therapeutic fields.
- Responsible for scientific workshops and studies.
- Organisation of advisory boards and other scientific events, including budgeting and planning of these activities to increase scientific knowledge.
- Contracts with external parties (investigators, service providers) and coordination of medical writers for Rare disease topics.
Experience Required
- At least 1–2-year experience in pharmaceutical industry, including medical affairs. In addition, clinical, regulatory, research and development, or other relevant experience welcome.
- Strong knowledge of at least one of the CEE pharmaceutical markets (Czech Republic, Slovakia).
- Experience in medical education and KOL management.
- Effective communication of evidence based on scientific information.
Education
- University degree in medicine or pharmacy; minimum requirement: MSc in biology, biotechnology, or similar studies.
Languages
- Native language (Czech or Slovak) and fluent in English.
