Chiesi Global Rare Diseases

Chiesi Global Rare Diseases is a Chiesi Group’s business unit established in February 2020 and focused on research, development and commercialization of treatments and patient support services for rare and ultra-rare disorders, many of whom have limited or no treatments available.

The unit is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, and has an initial focus on research and product development for lysosomal storage diseases, rare hematology and ophthalmology disorders. The unit is also a dedicated partner with global leaders in scientific research, patient advocacy and care.

 

Purpose

The internship will take place within the International Markets Development Division (IMDD), which operates across 4 continents and covers over 70 countries. The main opportunity offered by the internship is to work on market data and contribute to the reading and production of reports and dashboards in an agile and young structure, which is rapidly expanding and growing. You will work side by side with managers and colleagues in a highly familiar and collaborative environment.

Main Activities

- Dashboards updates, reports and alerting: market data interpretation, analysis of the results, discussion with internal and external stakeholders
- Collect data from primary or secondary data sources (IQVIA, BPC, Rocket, etc.) and elaborate user friendly files
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in market data and provide ad hoc insights to Business Units
- Develop, implement and monitor Business KPI’s aimed at continuously improving delivery of results in all geographies
- Define and update indicators to benchmark performances among the different markets
- Updates of current portfolio analysis to support prioritization, optimization and resources allocation

Education

Master Degree in Economics disciplines, Management Engineering

Languages

Fluent English. Study experience abroad would be consider a plus.

Technical Skills

Advance knowledge of Excel and other data analysis and visualization tools (like Power BI).
