Air and Care Franchise
Within the three Business Units (Discover more here), Air and Care Franchises are responsible for the development and implementation of the Therapeutic Area Strategies. Each Franchise is organized by stage of development with fully empowered and enhanced teams of: Pipeline Development Team - focused on delivering innovation and programs leadership accountabilities in close collaboration with R&D, Commercial Portfolio Management Team - focused on maximizing the benefit for the patients and the full potential of marketed / close-to-launch assets, including Life Cycle Management strategies.
Air and Care Franchises are also supported by the Medical Affairs, Value & Access, and Business Excellence & Customer Experience Global functions.

Within these departments, you will actively support the Air and Care Franchises businesses. These units are responsible for the development and implementation of the Therapeutic Area Strategies. Each Franchise is organized by stage of development with fully empowered and enhanced teams of: Pipeline Development and Commercial Portfolio Management.
Who we are looking for
Purpose
Within the Global Medical Affairs and reporting to the Clinical Operation Manager, the Clinical Operations trainee will support the operational activities of the GMA-generated data and oversee the execution of Evidence Generation activities ongoing by affiliates, as part of the Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Evidence Generation Plans.
Main Activities
The Clinical Operations trainee will support the operational activities and execution of Global Medical Affairs AIR generated data, as part of the Evidence Generation Plans.
Support the oversight of the GMA execution of Evidence Generation projects according to the product life cycle management.
Collaborate closely with the GMA therapeutic areas of the products and department assistants, to support the monitoring of Evidence Generation Plans, providing support for ensuring the delivery of the main projects.
Support the clinical operation manager in the interactions with providers to collect documents, proposals and to check the adequate quality of them.
Support the oversight of projects budget planning and management.
Work with GMA AIR leads of the diseases to support the oversight of programs that are led by GMA but operationally executed by Global Clinical Development (including alignment during strategic checkpoints and supervision of budget and timelines)
Support the scouting of new sources of data for evidence generation from different settings, going beyond the traditional clinical trials (e.g., public information, medical enquiries, insurance data, social media platforms, market research)
Education
Life Sciences or Scientific degree required
Experience abroad will be consider a plus
Masters on clinical research, clinical studies will be consider a plus
Languages
Fluent in English (oral and written communication)
Technical Skills
Good knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams apps
Basic knowledge of Statistical and Medical Writing principals is an advantage.
Soft Skills
Ability to work in an international and cross-functional teams.
Ability to identify project challenges and be proactive in propose solutions.
Detail oriented and organized, able to prepare concise project reports, updates, and documentation for internal meetings.
Flexibility to adapt initial planning and project changing conditions.
