Chiesi Corporate Functions

At Chiesi, the Corporate Functions serve as drive and support for the Group’s business operations. Encompassing key areas such as Global Finance, Global Procurement, Global ICT, Global Human Resources, Global Legal, Compliance & IP, and Global Communications & Public Affairs, these functions ensure consistency, efficiency, and operational integrity.

Complementing these functions, the Transformation Office is responsible for ensuring the strategic alignment of the organization. It promotes an integrated, digital, and customer-centric approach, supporting growth, efficiency, and value creation in an increasingly data-driven world. The Transformation Office ensures coherence between vision and execution, acting as a catalyst for change across the entire organization.

The Strategy, Sustainability & Growth Department is also part of the Corporate Functions. It includes areas such as Global Strategy, SV&S and Business Development, Competitive Intelligence, and other key capabilities. It is accountable for defining the ‘One Chiesi’ Strategy and allocating resources to create long-term, sustainable, shared value for the Group and its stakeholders.

 

Who we are looking for

This is what you will do

We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing and Social Media Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical marketing within the Canadian market. This internship offers exposure to marketing initiatives and digital engagement in the rare disease space. You will collaborate with the marketing and commercial operations teams to support initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and compliance with Canadian pharmaceutical regulations.

 

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Support the planning and execution of marketing initiatives across digital and traditional channels tailored for the Canadian pharmaceutical market.
  • Maintain and update marketing materials and collateral in alignment with Chiesi brand standards and local regulatory guidelines.
  • Support the internal review and approval process for marketing materials to ensure compliance with PAAB and Health Canada requirements.
  • Collaborate with external marketing and social media agencies to implement initiatives.
  • Manage and organize content for social media channels.
  • Develop and maintain a social media events calendar to ensure timely and relevant posts.

You will need to have

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business or Communications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Knowledge of Canadian pharmaceutical marketing regulations (PAAB, Health Canada) is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with design tools (e.g., Adobe) is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to a fast-paced environment.

Hybrid based out of Woodbridge, ON office - Available to work from the office one day per week
