Who are we looking for:
This role reports directly to the Medical Director and will be part of the local medical department. This role requires an ambitious and pro-active person who is foremost aware of the commercial importance in the context of his/her medical responsibility and integrity. He/she must be willing and capable to translate data related to Chiesi’s products to the marketplace in medical terms. This role requires a strong, visible communicator, who understands the medical process, the clinical trials and regulatory process. He/she must be a trusted and respected, influential and convincing counterpart of (key) opinion leaders in the local market. Enjoys and is experienced in discussing research data with physicians. In addition, it is essential that he/she is a self- starter with a high level of motivation whilst possessing the ability to work independently or in a team environment as the situation demands.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide high‑quality, timely scientific advice to healthcare professionals on Chiesi products and respiratory disease areas (Asthma & COPD).
- Act as a medical expert by maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of clinical development programs and therapeutic trends.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support scientific exchange and collaboration.
- Deliver medical education and training to internal teams and the field force.
- Support internal teams with scientific input for formulary submissions, guidelines, and decision‑maker education.
- Represent Chiesi at scientific meetings, advisory boards, and congresses; gather and communicate medical and competitive insights.
- Support local and international clinical studies and contribute to cross‑functional and corporate medical projects.Review and approve promotional materials in line with local regulations, Chiesi standards, and pharmacovigilance requirements.
We would prefer for you to have
- University degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences.
- 1+ year experience in Medical Affairs / MSL or a similar scientific role.
- Knowledge of or strong interest in Respiratory diseases (Asthma & COPD).
- Understanding of Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, and industry codes.
- Basic knowledge of clinical research (Phase II–IV) and the local healthcare system.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Czech or Slovak.
- Based in Prague or nearby, with willingness to travel.
