For our office located in Prague, Czech Republic we are looking for an experienced, reliable colleague with an interest to learn and develop, to lead small team of Finance&Accounting for Czech Republic&Slovakia.

Job description:

• Management of financial planning processes, with a focus on coordinating functional budget holders and local affiliates to deliver precise annual budgets within defined timeframes, analysis and check of budget drawing
• Comparative analysis against prior years and budget to identify potential challenges and opportunities within planned data
• Implementation of measures and KPIs for observation of budget drawing – always in collaboration with the Country managers and other managers
• Active engagement in long-term forecast planning exercises to assist in strategic planning and vision development
• Responsibility for the accounting month-end and year-end closing processes and for the monthly reporting activities to Wien Hub, according to their requirements
• Collaboration with domestic subjects according to Vienna’s requirements (distributors, institutions)
• Support to Country Manager, other managers and HR on finance related matters
• Calculation, issue, and settlement of invoice vs the parent company including appendices
• Check and approval of factual correctness of outputs toward the state (fin. authority, ČSSZ, health insurance comp., OR)
• Management information and advice about the changes in local legislation on taxes and accounting
• Draft and observation of guidelines regarding financial matters of the Company
• Preparation of VAT declarations and recapitulative statement (back-up)
• Coordinate and liaise with auditors and tax professionals to ensure compliance with all statutory accounting and fiscal requirements
• Supervise and mentor finance staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Conduction of detailed business case analyses for new initiatives and business prospects
• Management of Car fleet, Coordinator for IT consultant
• Active participation to the CZ&SK Management Team
• Other unspecified activities as required by superiors

Our requirements :

• University degree
• 5+ years of experience in managerial position in finance/controlling/audit
• Experience in team management
• Good knowledge of English (C1 - frequent communication with headquarters and Hub)
• Analytical reasoning, precision, attention to detail
• very good management skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Knowledge of working with SAP
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and especially MS Excel
