Chiesi Research & Development
Our R&D team represents a fundamental asset for the business. It is divided into integrated functional areas focusing on pipeline projects including discovery and preclinical research, chemical manufacturing and controls, drug delivery technology, clinical development, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, intellectual property, quality assurance, R&D project and portfolio management. Headquartered in the new purpose-built and fully integrated Research and Development Centre in Parma (Italy), the team also has important operations in Paris (France), Chippenham (UK), Cary (US), Stockholm (Sweden) and Toronto (Canada).
Who we are looking for
Purpose
Teamworking, problem solving and analytical skills are the characteristics we are looking for intern to join our Data Management & Statistics Vendors Alliance Management unit
Main Responsibilities
During the 6 months internship you will actively participating in/supporting the development of the DM/STAT Vendors Strategic Partnership with a specific focus on:
- Supporting the unit in the definition of a new archive structure to improve and homogenize the document management
- Providing analysis against budgets and previous periods, identifying risks and opportunities
- Ensuring timely and accurate metrics and forecasts are updated and maintained
- Developing tracking tools for contractual documents (Work Order / Change Order / Change Notification form)
- Scouting of trend analysis calculation for vendors KPIs through development of visualization tools and internal metrics
- Developing internal survey and conduction of performance analysis
- Supporting month-end close and financial operating planning
- Implementing of innovative ideas & tools to improve the strategic partnership
Education
University degree in economics, statistical, management engineering, IT area or any other area with a quantitative background
Technical Skills
Excellent level of knowledge of Microsoft Office tools: strong skills in working with Excel spreadsheets PowerPoint and MS Project.
Languages
Proficiency in English and Italian (both oral and written)
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of data deliverables (insight, visualizations, reporting outputs, data extracts etc) and best practice options for delivery, analytical skills with eye for detail
- Attitude for synthesis and curiosity in data analysis
- Ability to work in team
- Good planning, time-management and organizational skills
- Intellectual curiosity, flexibility and attention to detail
