Who we are looking for

Purpose

The new colleague joining the SV&S team will play an active and unique role in our company's journey toward integrating shared value approach into company strategy, processes and way of working, thereby coordinating and overseeing projects and activities aimed at measuring, managing and improving our social and environmental impact.

Main Responsibilities

The new SV&S colleague will be part of the Impact Management team. Particularly he/she will have the following responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate critical sustainability processes, such as Materiality analysis and actively contribute to the evolution of these processes in view of current and future ESG compliance requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring the execution of the sustainability strategic plan, also supporting and/or leading the implementation of key projects outlined in the plan. 
  • Support the implementation of sustainability governance, including the preparation of internal committees (eg. Impact Committee), ensuring compliance with the requirements and commitments associated with the Benefit Corporation form adopted by Chiesi.
  • Coordinate the measurement of social and environmental performance in accordance with B Corp standards (B Impact Assessment – BIA), ensuring alignment and connection with other key processes such as the sustainability data collection process. Coordinate the activities aimed at preparing for B Corp re-certification, which occurs every three years.
  • Champion a shared value mindset and approach with different external and internal stakeholders, including leadership roles within the organisation, collaborating with other key corporate departments involved in sustainability projects, as well as with the affiliate's SV&S Business Partners.
  • Stay consistently updated in the field of sustainability through self-study and actively share ideas and insights with the rest of the team.
     

Experience Required

About 5 years of experience in the sustainability field. Please consider that passion and positive attitude matter more than experience.

Education

Master’s Degree in Management or Law. Other degree might be considered as well.

Curricula that include study paths in Environment or Social sciences will be consider with a plus
 

Languages

Fluency in written and spoken English 
 

Technical Skills

  • Deep understanding of sustainability and shared value concepts;
  • Sound knowledge of key sustainability processes/practices (e.g. materiality analysis, impact measurement frameworks, stakeholder engagement, etc.);
  • Sound knowledge of ESG trends and regulations;
  • Experience in Project Management 
  • Skilled IT user
