Chiesi Global Manufacturing Division

Chiesi Group has three production plants: Parma (Italy); Blois-La Chaussée-Saint-Victor (France); Santana de Parnaíba (Brazil). The plants produce a total of over 110 million units per year.

The production plant in Parma covers a total area of more than fifteen thousand square meters and it is the strategic hub for the production and distribution of our products, being an international supply center that exports to more than 80 countries. The Parma plant produces solid medicinal products, such as tablets and inhaled dry powders; inhalation solutions and suspensions, either pressurized or sterile single-dose vials; vials of sterile suspension for endotracheal administration; liquid forms such as drops, syrups and nasal sprays.

Santana produces pressurized solutions and suspensions for inhalant therapy (MDIs) and supplies both domestic market and Group’s Affiliates and exports to licensees and distributors. Blois specializes in Dry Powder Inhalers and final assembly stages of the Metered-Dose Inhalers (MDIs), supplies Group’s Affiliates and distributes directly to clients at a local level and in export markets.

 

Who we are looking for

Purpose

We are seeking a candidate that already gained first experience to join its rapidly growing Corporate Security Team based in Parma. This is a unique opportunity to work in a highly capable global team and to play a critical part in shaping our security offering to protect our people and global business.

Main Responsibilities

•    Support our affiliates actively with the design, implementation and development of security, business continuity or crisis management systems tailored to their organizational setup and in line with the relevant industry standards;
•    Identify, analyse, and assess risks and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies for our affiliates with the local security point of contacts;
•    Oversee the development and implementation of mitigating measures, focusing on physical security, crisis management, event risk management and travel security;
•    Act as a focal point for our affiliates and corporate functions to understand their specific security requirements and provide guidance for utilizing new technologies to their full potential while maintaining our internal standards and policies;
•    Evaluate emerging security technologies for their potential to reduce security related risks or reduce cost of security;
•    Raise awareness and promote security with a focus on our security point of contacts via communication and community building;
•    Participate in the development and implementation of Global Security policies, standards and procedures, contributing to the development of the global security roadmap and strategy;
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and articulate our (security) risk management framework including optimization, clarifying roles and responsibilities.

Experience Required

Demonstratable first experience of risk, business continuity, crisis or security management within an established consultancy or corporate security function.

Education

Degree or advanced diploma in risk management or security related fields are preferred.

Languages

Full professional proficiency in Italian and English.
