Who we are looking for

Purpose

Chiesi Foundation is a non-profit organization operational since 2010 and expression of the social responsibility of Chiesi Farmaceutici, whose aim is to improve the quality of life of patients and their families affected by neonatal and chronic respiratory diseases in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC) through cost-effective interventions by: 1) delivering a package of innovative and sustainable technologies for health facilities 2) providing technical support and capacity building for healthcare workers and patients and their families’ empowerment 3) supporting the creation of hub & spoke model and developing perinatal network of health facilities 4) creating a strategic partnership with local and international stakeholders 5) improving data quality. Chiesi Foundations works in close collaboration with local governments and ministries of health, hospitals and health care workers, mothers and newborn babies and their families, universities, NGOs and development actors.

 

Main Activities

Under the supervision of the Communication & Event Officer, the Communications Intern will contribute to the development and execution of the Foundation’s communications internal and external activities, such as content production, graphic design, social media management, website editing, fundraising management and event coordination. 

 

The Communication Intern will be involved in the:

 

• development and preparation of communication and informative materials, such as fact sheets, brochures, videos, etc.
• production of multimedia content for internal and external communication purposes
• social media management (LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook), collaborating in content development and contributing to the editorial planning
• organization and management of internal and external initiatives and events
• development of the 2024 social report
• implementation of the internal 5x1000 fundraising campaign  
• other relevant duties as assigned
 

Education

Master’s degree in communication.

Familiarity with the NGO or philanthropic sector is considered a plus.

Languages

Fluent in English and Italian; French is considered a plus.

Technical Skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian with strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Ability to write, edit, and disseminate content, including publications, website content, annual reports, etc.
• Knowledge of social media channels and their language and trends.
• Knowledge of Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress) and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
• Knowledge of photo and video editing.
