Who we are looking for

Context

Global Capabilities Network (GCN) is an organization which offers services to all Chiesi business units. The goal is to provide scalable, sustainable, and streamlined service delivery worldwide for Asset Accounting process.
Position plays an active role in the transition processes of Asset Accounting from local business unit to GCN organization; actively contributes to the process improvement and standardization initiatives.
 

Purpose

Ensure the delivery and execution of Asset Accounting services worldwide. Facilitate and manage communication and issue resolution between all the stakeholders.
Acts in continuous contact with local finance organization for the processes in scope related matters. All activities are engaged in establishing and enhancing the satisfaction of internal and external customers and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

•    Starting from assets Good entries / Service Entry Sheets, manage assets capitalization in assets under construction and/or final asset in the right class;
•    Work in strong connection with local teams to understand the date when the asset is ready to be used, so to start with the deprecation process;
•    Manage all the postings related to sales, disposals, scrapping;
•    Run monthly depreciation; 
•    Manage year end closing;
•    Ensure asset situation consistency, and constant alignment with GL balances;
•    Support local organizations for all the doubts related to Asset Accounting;
•    Support on ad hoc projects.

Experience Required

2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in multinational contexts

Education

Economic background (either academic or high-school diploma)

Languages

•    Fluent English (both written and spoken);
•    Knowledge of any other languages will be considered as a plus.

Technical Skills

•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Package, Excel in particular;
•    Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
