Who we are looking for

This is what you will do

The Cost & Resource Intern supports the Global Clinical Development function in the management of cost, investment, and workload planning activities within corporate systems. Working under the guidance of the Cost & Resources team and in collaboration with cross-functional R&D stakeholders (including Project Managers, PPM, R&D Finance, and DBK), the intern contributes to the accurate collection, upload, monitoring, and maintenance of financial and resource-related data in systems such as R&D Planisware and SAP. The role provides support in both planning activities and cost administration processes.

You’ll be involved in

  • Plan & forecast: support the collection of inputs with stakeholders; participate in internal budgeting touchpoints; upload cost & workload plans in Planisware in line with calendar/guidelines; support budget/forecast analyses and fine‑tuning.
  • Actuals & compliance: support the preparation and review of Purchase Requisitions in SAP; assist in compiling approval documentation; contribute to month‑end and year‑end activities (accruals, invoice tracking), liaising with Finance Italy & Corporate Tax & Treasury and suppliers when needed; support the analysis of actual vs baseline deviations to P&C.
  • Resources & time tracking: support the maintenance of the Resource Breakdown Structure (RBS); facilitate timecard completion for internal staff; track consultants’ timesheets and support allocation of time by project.
  • Systems expertise & user support: act as a key user for Planisware and SAP; support functional end‑users in daily operations.
  • Operational support to GCD: when required, support the preparation and follow up of legal/fiscal documentation (e.g., PoAs, notarizations, apostilles) and assist in managing service agreements / HCP interactions / donations / IITs.

 

You will need to have

  • Master's Degree in economics, international business (or equivalent). 
  • Good command of Excel (familiarity with SAP will be consider a plus)
  • Fluent English (spoken and written). An study experience aborad will be consider a plus
  • Basic understanding of administration and/or budget coordination

  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach
