About the Role

As a Manager Procurement (all genders), you will be responsible for establishing the strategic conditions for the efficient and sustainable supply of the company. You will qualify suppliers and service providers, further develop procurement strategies, and identify potential cost savings. In doing so, you will work closely with internal departments and external partners and make an important contribution to efficiency, quality, and sustainability.

Since this is a parental leave replacement, this position is initially limited to a maximum of 18 months.

Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the centralized and decentralized indirect procurement of goods and services and establish the conditions for the cost-effective and sustainable supply of the company.
• You will select and qualify suppliers and service providers and conduct contract negotiations within your area of responsibility.
• You will manage and further develop strategic supplier partnerships and ensure high performance in terms of costs, quality, service, and sustainability.
• You will identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization and drive their implementation in collaboration with the business units.
• You will further develop standards, guidelines, and processes in line with Group policies & values and ensure compliance with them.
• You will raise awareness among business partners regarding project lead times and budget planning and promote the implementation of sustainability objectives.

What You Bring With You

• You hold a degree in business administration or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience in buying/purchasing.
• You have extensive professional experience in strategic purchasing or procurement and have already managed and developed suppliers and service providers.
• You have experience in national and international project management as well as in designing and optimizing procurement processes.
• You are proficient in using ERP systems, ideally SAP, as well as standard MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• You stand out for your structured approach to work, strong focus on results and customer satisfaction, and exceptional analytical skills.
• You present yourself confidently, communicate and negotiate persuasively, and are known for your assertiveness, resilience, and ability to work well in a team.
• You actively embrace diversity, openness, and collaboration and identify with our Shared Value principles.
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. German language skills are beneficial but not essential. .
