Controller (all genders) - temporary for 24 months
We are looking for a Controller (all genders) to start as soon as possible to cover for a colleague on parental leave for a period of 24 months. The position is to be filled on a part-time or full-time basis from 25 hours/week.
Your responsibilities:
- Support and advise one or more business units and other departments as a partner on all controlling-related topics, business issues and projects
- Timely and professional preparation of monthly financial statements, the associated reporting including variance analyses and derivation of recommendations for action for management
- Supervision of operational planning, esp. consolidation, analysis and commenting on all data
- Local maintenance and support of the SAP and BI systems
- Development and continuous improvement of controlling and management tools, KPIs, and advancement of the digitalization of controlling processes
- Creation of transfer price calculations and support with transfer price documentation
- Support with strategic corporate planning
- Involvement in internal and group-wide international projects and special topics
- Promoting and living our shared value principles
Your qualifications:
- University degree (ideally in business administration) with a focus on controlling/finance or comparable training
- Ideally at least 3-5 years in a controlling role
- Previous experience in working with international parent companies would be ideal; previous experience in working with various internal stakeholders is necessary
- Strong analytical skills and a very good understanding of numbers
- Proficiency in finance and accounting tools
- Good knowledge of accounting and IFRS
- IT skills: very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), very good knowledge of SAP (SAP CO, BW, BPC and ideally FI)
- You are service-oriented, proactive and a team player
- Strong communication skills (contacts within the group and in the local organization)
- Digital mindset and willingness to change/agility
- Language skills: German and very good English (daily use)
