Purpose

The person will be accountable for assessing and identifying market opportunities, developing priorities and creating marketing strategies and tactics to take advantage of those opportunities. The Marketing Manager will lead the development of brand strategy, pricing strategy, product portfolio management, new product launches and integrated brand activation plans with local distributors, including preparing brand guidelines and bundle books for the accounts to use in driving consistency and brand equity across markets.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage marketing programs to promote products to health-care professionals, while assisting with sales goals.
  • Manage vendors and external marketing agencies engaged in company promotions.
  • Development of business strategies.
  • Identify and analyze competition, research new target markets and recommend actions to achieve annual sales and profit objectives.
  • Build the brand and grow share.
  • Develop annual marketing budget and annual planning process.
  • Develop annual marketing plans, execute and monitor implementation.
  • Administer and monitor marketing activities and brand P&L’s, ensure achievement of goals.
  • Presents status update on overall business to Business Unit Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments within the organization and ensure understanding and alignment to marketing plans.
  • Monitors and evaluates competitive products and market place dynamics.

Experience Required

2+ years of marketing or brand management experience as a product manager

(Preferences: Cardio-Metabolic and rare diseases/ experience as a medical representative)

Education

Bachelor degree in marketing or related

Languages

Fluent communication skills, written and oral in both Spanish and English.

Technical Skills

  • Data and market Analysis; Experimenting with a variety of data which is provided by market research companies and make planning on that and drive.
