Who we are looking for
Purpose
We are searching for a passionate Omnichannel Marketer to join our growing US AIR Marketing Team. This newly created position will initially focus on pre-launch preparation in anticipation of FDA approval of our global market leading product, Trimbow®.
We want to find an experienced individual with the skills, experience, and passion to help us fulfill our mission to introduce Chiesi and our anticipated future launches to US HCPs and patients active in the asthma and COPD disease area. We seek someone who can work effectively in a dynamic team-environment, with a high degree of autonomy. This position reports to the head of US AIR marketing and will start as an individual contributor.
Main Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Provide digital and AGILE methodology leadership to the marketing team and extended brand launch team.
- Architect and drive a future-forward digital strategy that aligns with Trimbow’s brand plan and integrates with the BECX roadmap
- Lead the evolution of digital engagement, balancing the integrating of cutting-edge tools, automation, and personalization strategies with the change management needs of the organization.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a comprehensive, multi-channel HCP and Patient Marketing tactical plan, budget, and performance measurement plan.
- Contribute to Leadership requests and presentations (e.g., Launch Readiness Updates, Tactical Plans) as necessary.
Campaign Design & Execution:
- Utilize AGILE techniques and MVP approach to design and build campaigns
- Design and execute high-impact, data-driven digital campaigns that resonate with key audiences.
- Oversee content lifecycle management, ensuring seamless, compliant, and optimized distribution across platforms.
- Champion a customer-centric approach, leveraging behavioral insights to refine targeting and messaging.
Enablement & Collaboration:
- Lead and inspire stakeholders to embrace omnichannel excellence and adopt best-in-class engagement strategies.
- Act as a digital evangelist, facilitating knowledge-sharing and fostering a culture of continuous innovation.
- Engage in frequent customer facing interactions such as field rides, in-office meetings, events, and other activities as needed.
Performance & Optimization:
- Establish a data-driven framework to define, track, and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) across all digital initiatives.
- Leverage advanced analytics, market insights and real-time data to continuously refine campaign effectiveness and maximize ROI.
- Implement A/B testing, audience segmentation, and personalization strategies to enhance engagement and conversion rates.
Operational Excellence:
- Manage the digital marketing budget, overseeing third-party vendors and ensuring ROI-driven investments.
- Work with colleagues to identify and prioritize improvements to enhance operational efficiency, KPIs and maximize marketing ROI.
- Lead operational projects to deliver best-in-class digital initiatives on time, on budget and with maximum impact.
- Partner with IT, Legal / Compliance, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, and other functions as needed to develop digital policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations
Experience Required
- 5+ years’ experience in pharma marketing, at least 4 in digital/omnichannel
- Previous product launch experience
- A proven track record of leading successful digital marketing strategies and campaigns
- Experience working with AGILE marketing methodologies
- Deep knowledge of multichannel and omnichannel marketing strategies and platforms.
- Proficiency in SEO, SEM, and digital tools such as Veeva, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe, and AMC (Advanced Marketing Cloud).
- Strong analytical mindset with a history of data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in agency management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to navigate a dynamic, fast-paced environment, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution.
- Experience working with field teams is essential.
- History of success managing multiple priorities with excellent organizational and critical thinking skills on time and within budget
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory, legal and compliance requirements for both general pharma and digital/data.
- Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment -- outstanding relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Ability to work independently with guidance only needed on the most complex tasks
- Flexibility to travel (up to 30% travel anticipated if based in Cary, more if remote)
- Preferred qualifications: Respiratory experience (Asthma and COPD prioritized)
Education
Bachelor’s Degree: Marketing, Communications, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
