The Lead, Omnichannel Marketing for the U.S. CARE Marketing Team serves as the strategic architect and operational catalyst for Chiesi’s next generation customer engagement model. This role is responsible for elevating how the organization connects with key customer segments across a complex portfolio that spans Hospital–Critical Care and Neonatology—bringing to life a modern, insights driven approach to engagement that meets clinicians where they are and how they prefer to learn.
This leader will shape the future of omnichannel marketing for CARE, translating Chiesi’s commitment to innovation and patient centricity into a digitally enabled ecosystem that delivers meaningful, behavior-changing experiences. With a balance of vision, technical fluency, and hands-on execution, the role drives alignment across Marketing, CX, Digital Enablement, Commercial Excellence, and field-based partners to ensure omnichannel capabilities are embedded into everyday marketing operations.
Success in this role requires a forward-looking mindset—one that continually scans the horizon for emerging technologies, evolving HCP behaviors, and new models of engagement. The individual will champion the adoption of advanced digital capabilities, including AI-enabled solutions, predictive analytics, dynamic content frameworks, and privacy centric data strategies.
The Lead, Omnichannel Marketing acts as a driving force for capability building within the CARE organization. By coaching and developing the Digital Marketing Team, instilling new skill sets, and fostering a mindset rooted in experimentation and continuous improvement, this leader will help shape a digitally fluent organization ready to meet the needs of today’s and tomorrow’s healthcare environment.

You’ll be responsible for:
- Strategic Omnichannel Leadership:
- Develop and lead a comprehensive omnichannel marketing strategy that leverages advanced analytics, automation tools, and real-time data to engage healthcare professionals effectively.
- Manage CARE’s key performance indicator frameworks, ensuring that metrics such as conversion rates, event tracking, tagging governance, and performance dashboards accurately reflect campaign success.
- Direct cross-functional teams to create impactful, user-centric digital experiences that utilize adaptable content architectures and messaging tailored to healthcare clinicians’ decision-making processes.
- Supervise the rollout of multifaceted digital campaigns spanning website content, email marketing, programmatic media, search engine marketing, social platforms, and third-party healthcare provider portals, maintaining consistent engagement quality.
- Monitor and assess emerging technologies and trends at the intersection of healthcare and digital marketing to keep Chiesi at the forefront of effective customer engagement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine workflows, systems, and cultural mindsets that facilitate the adoption of an advanced omnichannel marketing approach.
- Integration and Operational Excellence:
- Partner with brand leadership to translate strategic objectives into precise, insight-driven engagement plans that respect data privacy and leverage predictive analytics.
- Oversee media budget planning, channel allocation, and campaign integration aligned with brand objectives and healthcare professional segments.
- Liaise with global and local omnichannel marketing enablement teams to inform recommendations using customer experience methodologies and evolving marketing automation and CRM ecosystems.
- Establish and promote experimentation and testing protocols to continuously optimize campaign performance and maximize return on investment.
- Lead the deployment and evolution of advanced marketing automation platforms, ensuring comprehensive utilization of CRM and MAP infrastructure.
- Represent the CARE organization in key cross-functional meetings, driving alignment on digital strategy, processes, and technology adoption across multiple departments.
- Team Development and Leadership:
- Manage and mentor internal teams and external agency partners to guarantee timely delivery of high-caliber digital marketing initiatives.
- Navigate complex review and approval processes efficiently, including those involving AI-enhanced content creation.
- Lead transformative projects such as implementing new platforms and system upgrades that enhance organizational agility and digital proficiency.
- Foster a culture of learning and innovation within the digital marketing team, encouraging experimentation and continuous skill development.
- Collaborate closely with brand and field teams to ensure digital marketing is central to commercial success.
- Engage in personal professional development activities aligned with leadership growth and evolving marketing technologies.
You will need to have
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical digital marketing, with deep, hands-on expertise in SFMC, Adobe Experience Manager, and Google Analytics, along with a strong working familiarity with SEO and SEM best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership success, including managing direct reports and building, leading, or transforming a digital team or function—ideally with experience implementing AI/automation programs, digital experimentation frameworks, or scalable modular content ecosystems.
- Proven track record of leading customer experience and digital transformation initiatives, guiding organizations toward modern, data-driven, digitally led ways of working.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities, cross-functional partners, and aggressive deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience developing and executing strategic digital campaigns across both personal and non-personal promotion, with a strong understanding of MLR review processes, compliance requirements, digital performance dashboards, attribution methodologies, and marketing analytics.
- Strong project management, analytical thinking, and budget stewardship skills, with the discipline to drive efficiency without compromising quality.
- Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and strategic relationship-building, with a natural orientation toward emerging digital trends, rapid capability adoption, and continuous improvement.
We would prefer for you to have
- MBA or similar advanced degree a plus.
