Who we are looking for

This is what you will do

  • Ensure the delivery and execution of General Ledger and Travel & Expenses services for the assigned area. Facilitate and manage communication and issue resolution between external vendors as well as internal customers.
  • Acts in continuous contact with local finance organization for the processes in scope related matters. All activities are engaged in establishing and enhancing the satisfaction of internal and external customers and stakeholders.

You’ll be responsible for:

  •     Travel & Expenses Management
    • Check, review and approve TE process in the system (Concur).
    • Train new employees in how to use the tool. Good customer service skill.
    • Prepare, create and develop TE reports.
    • Maintain supervised employees’ open items.
  • General Ledger
    • Prepare and upload GL postings, accruals and deferrals in the accounting system (SAP) ensuring to meet the company’s month-end closing deadlines.
    • Reconcile periodically GL accounts (bank accounts reconciliation and others).
    • Perform quarterly intercompany reconciliation.
    • IFRS 16 Board usage: fill in contracts, follow the calculation execution and post in SAP.
  • General
    • Contributes to quality and continuous improvement goals, supports process simplification and activities assigned by TL.
    • Support on ad hoc projects.
    • Assist Chiesi Colleagues in administrative matters connected to the responsibility area.

You will need to have

  • College graduate in Accounting, Economic or related field (or close to graduate).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in an international company).
  • SAP Working knowledge (Accounting FICO modules). Familiarity with Concur Travel system is a plus. Knowledge of Accounting Principles (IFRS).
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel (Vlookups, Pivot table).
  • Teamwork attitude, positive-mindset and open to learning.
  • Detail oriented, attentive to fast changing environments and problem-solving skills.
  • Good customer service skills.

We would prefer for you to have

  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language proficiency (able to speak, read and understand).
