Who we are looking for

This is what you will do

The Contract Administration Analyst will report to the Contracts Manager in support of the US Market Access Pricing and Contracts team with various deal governance activities (scheduling, proposal log maintenance, meeting minutes, etc.), contract lifecycle management, contract clause library upkeep, contract prioritization tracking/reporting, and peer review of contract drafts and SOWs. The role is highly visible and will help build efficiency within the team and provide critical support across the end-to-end contracting process.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Maintain contract documentation: Oversee the organization, accessibility, and secure storage of all contractual and legal documents, ensure a clear audit trail. Perform peer review of contract drafts and SOWs as needed.
  • Manage the contract clause library: Keep the standard clause library up-to-date and easily accessible in support for ensuring compliant and efficient contract drafts.
  • Act as liaison: Serve as the central point of contact for a wide range of stakeholders, including Account Owners, Legal, and other market access teams, to ensure alignment on deal governance activities, contract prioritization tracking/reporting, contract timeline tracking/reporting, and other ad-hoc activities as needed.
  • Drive process optimization: Proactively identify and help implement improvements to the contracting process, contract clause library, and systems to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Manage contract processing: Manage eligibility requests from internal and external stakeholders and communicate with wholesalers regarding eligibility and contract details as needed. Execute the initial setup and creation of contracts and rebates. Update, extend, and manage existing contracts. Support rebate calculations and adjudications and assist with processing chargebacks to ensure accuracy in transactions.
  • Manage bid to signature across stakeholders/systems across all commercial contacts.

You will need to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as paralegal studies, healthcare administration, business administration) or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical contracts.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills are necessary for effectively coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Word for editing and formatting, including utilization of comments and tracked changes features, experienced with handling PDFs and e-signature software (e.g., DocuSign).

We would prefer for you to have

  • Paralegal degree or certifications are desirable.
  • Proficiency with contract lifecycle management (CLM) software, such as LinkSquares, Cobblestone, etc., is desirable.
  • A solid understanding of the US healthcare payer landscape and compliance requirements related to pharmaceutical contracting a plus.
