Who we are looking for

Purpose

Solves organizational business problems using technology by analyzing business requirements, designing technology solutions, and recommending system controls and protocols, with an emphasis on project management.  Provides ongoing support for production systems as well as coordinating end user testing for implemented systems.  Supports integration and testing tasks for systems supporting business processes.  

Main Responsibilities

Manage IT business projects

  • Manage and prioritize IT intake requests, working with business stakeholders to define and build business case, including business objectives, requirements, and return-on-investment (ROI). 
  • Act as a liaison between departmental end-users and IT staff in the analysis, design, functional configuration, testing, and maintenance of business applications to ensure optimal system integration and performance.
  • Build and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with process owners, functional and technical team members, and users.
  • Track and document changes in complex functional and business specifications and writes detailed procedures that can be easily understood by end-users.

 

Support business applications

  • Provide direct end user support and issue tracking in coordination with corporate IT and external support teams, ensuring issue resolution.
  • Analyze issues and manage the escalation to the appropriate IT support teams.
  • Provide end user training for existing or implemented systems as required.
  • Perform gap analysis, including current and future state process flows and data models.
  • Define business needs and design solutions that can be leveraged by multiple business units and global sites 

 

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the business and IT team to offer technical solutions and resolve business process and system issues.

 

Documentation and protocol

  • Complete system documentation and change control in adherence with established corporate and department protocols.
  • Analyze business processes and systems and identify opportunities for improvement.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position or as a consultant in a regulated environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
  • Experience in an organization that uses contract manufacturing, preferred.
  • Experience in GxP Computer System Validation (CSV) processes and procedures, preferred. 
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills; ability to establish project priorities and develop and meet project milestones and timelines.
  • Strong support background supporting users at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose technical or procedural issues and conceptualize resolutions.
  • Ability to collect and document business requirements (use case, class diagram, conceptual maps, data models, etc.)
  • Proven experience working with application documentation or change control.
  • Proven experience building and managing relationships between business and IT stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with business stakeholder to define and prioritize business needs.
  • Ability to interface effectively with numerous departments within and outside of the company.
  • Ability to express complex concepts clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to function well and maintain good working relationships with an international team.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited university required, preferably in engineering, business, or IT.
