Purpose

Chiesi Global Rare Diseases division currently has an opening for a Senior Manager, Data Analytics, reporting to the Director, Business Knowledge & Operations - Rare Disease. 
The Senior Data Analytics Manager will use their expertise in advanced analytical techniques to provide actionable insights to the commercial team to inform and influence strategic decision-making. The position will lead the development of business metric reporting as well as customer/account/patient level analytics. Specific areas of responsibility include customer level targeting, sales performance, market share, as well as field salesforce incentive compensation management in support of various commercialized brands and new product launches. This role requires a commercial operations leader who possesses a strong business acumen, has a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical sales & marketing processes, data sources, advanced analytics and data science methods, tools as well as working knowledge of field force support practices and decision support systems -enablement and governance. Candidate must be able to support enhancing a culture of data driven decision-making.
This role is based in our office in Boston, MA office, with the flexibility to work from home. Candidates must be available to travel to meetings and visit the Boston office as needed.

Main Responsibilities


•    Develop KPI’s, metrics, dashboards and analysis to bring insight into the selling and customer management process; support data warehouse integrity and governance efforts
•    Collaborate extensively with IT & Business Systems team in the design, testing, and implementation of standard business objects production reports to support various brands
•    Lead activities focused on data validation and troubleshooting data issues 
•    Provide customer level analytics including account segmenting and targeting, sales trends, order/supply patterns, conduct timely quarterly gross to net calcuaitons with Finance
•    Provide ad-hoc/gap analytics and reports to all levels of field sales management and other commercial stakeholders in support of their ongoing efforts to achieve sales targets and track sales execution results
•    Leverage data and analytics to track, optimize, and predict business performance; support a culture of data driven decision-making

Experience Required

•    7 to 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry
•    Previous sales operations experience required
•    Strong technical skills preferred
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
•    Proven ability and experience in multi-tasking with a commitment to delivering results in tight timelines
•    Able to work efficiently in a team-oriented setting; willing and open to contribute to the team in terms of leadership, adaptability, competence, and execution
•    High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
•    Able to communicate in a clear and effective way both, verbally and in writing, using the appropriate communication techniques and tools
•    Innovative problem-soling skills – quickly identify potential solutions while considering possible impacts to other individuals and/or systems

Education

•    Bachelor’s degree required
