Chiesi Global Rare Diseases is a Chiesi Group’s business unit established in February 2020 and focused on research, development and commercialization of treatments and patient support services for rare and ultra-rare disorders, many of whom have limited or no treatments available.
This unit is based in Boston, Massachusetts, with a strong synergy with the headquarters in Parma.

Who we are looking for
This is what you will do
Chiesi Global Rare Diseases division currently has an opening for a Business Intelligence Manager, reporting to Head of Commercial and Operational Excellence.
The BI Manager, working closely with the value and access team and the commercial functions, will be in charge of supporting the BU with all the needs of information. They will be one of the main contributors of the data democratization, reporting and global analytics.
You’ll be responsible for:
- CRM monitoring
- Provide support to Medical team ensuring activities are aligned with objectives and priorities
- Monitor SFE performance in accordance to KPIs
- Cross analyze field performance and Commercial excellence KPIs
- Define and Monitor KPIs
- Identify best practices within Countries and cross-fertilize the organization
- BI dashboard:
- Coordinate a cross-functional team of contributors to build new dashboards in Power BI and improve the existing platform
- Ensure data reliability
- Define and monitor KPIs
- Proactively check that the numbers meet criteria
- Listen to customers and develop solutions
- Prioritize automation to improve efficiency
- Stakeholder Management:
- Identify project stakeholders and establish clear communication channels and expectations
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues or conflicts
- Support head of function in material preparation for monthly updates and quarterly BRMs
- Engage regularly with heads of other functions within and outside the Business Unit
- Data Quality & Documentation
- Define KPIs in collaboration with cross-functional stake holders
- Ensure high data quality through validation, lineage tracking, and KPI measurement.
- Maintain technical documentation for data processes and workflows
- Experience designing and implementing star/snowflake schemas, dimensional models, and ETL pipelines
- Familiarity with tools such as SSIS, Talend, Informatica, or custom Python-based ETL scripts
- ML, AI, Analytics & Modeling
- Implement advanced analytics, including machine learning and AI, for commercial insights
- Build predictive models and scalable algorithms from proof-of-concept to production
- Develop automated capabilities for applying ML/AI across the business
You will need to have
• BS/MS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Math, Statistics, Engineer or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a commercial functions as Market Analyst, SFE Analyst, Marketing Manager, Business Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst or similar
• Willing to contribute into Process Improvement
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau and similar
• Knowledge of R, Python, SQL or similar
• Project Management capabilities
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written); proven ability to work cross functionally and liaise across a complex set of stakeholders
We would prefer for you to have
- MBA
- Basic knowledge of Ml and AI principles
- Knowledge of project management tools, such as Smartsheet and similar
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
- Understanding of the Pharma market and claims data
Location
This role is based in our office in Boston, MA, office, with the flexibility to work from home few days/week. Candidates must be available to visit the office weekly.
Compensation
The annual base pay for this position ranges from $142,110 to $173,690. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. If hired, the employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
